Pros and cons to everything
So we got there and erika was nice she helped us figure out the equipment and stuff she also gave us a handmade map. For reference we (my grandmother and I) were doing the scavenger hunt without a guide. She told us that if we ever needed help then call the number on the red bag. We get to Seville quarter and we walk in and the security officer asks us what we are doing and we just say we are on a ghost hunt and gives us a confused expression. We walked back out after we called the number with no one answering the phone. We waited for the group lead by a guide. After the group approached us we asked for help from the guide (Donna LaCroix) and the guide gave us a disgusted look and told us she couldn't help us. She opened a door which no one really told us about and lead the group up. We let them go up and after the door closed we questioned whether we should go to the tower or just follow the group. After talking we went up the stairs to re group after we entered the room with the huge table I gave a gentle wave and went for the corner of the room because we were trying to be polite. The guide twisted her head and said, "uh hahaha can I help you?" In a voice I can only describe as curt and mockingly as if it were all our fault. The rest of the tour went okay we carried on our tour then back tracked to Seville Quarter which was an amazing experience. We also completed the whole tour faster than the guided group. This isn't a hate review this is only a honest review and things we wished we new. Thanks for reading
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your feedback and are glad you enjoyed completing the scavenger hunt. We were a bit confused by your review because we do not have an employee by the name you mentioned. When you called our office, we were assisting another guest. We returned your call immediately and spoke with you to answer your questions. Our guided tour and self-guided scavenger hunt are two separate experiences. During check-in, we explained the differences and offered you the opportunity to switch to the guided tour, but you chose to continue with the self-guided option. Based on your review, it appears you later joined the guided group. Because you had declined the guided tour at check-in, the guide was understandably confused when you appeared with the group. The guide was leading guests into an area that is not part of the self-guided route and is not accessible to the public, which is why you were not directed there as part of your scavenger hunt. We sincerely apologize for any confusion and appreciate you bringing your experience to our attention. Guest feedback helps us continue improving our tours and the information we provide during check-in. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the remainder of your adventure and appreciate you choosing to tour with us.

Haunted Fun, Free Samples, and Real Ghost Activity
We had such a great time on the scavenger hunt! The ghost-hunting tools were easy to use and added an extra thrill as we explored each haunted spot. We enjoyed taking our time with the clues and uncovering bits of Pensacola’s eerie history at every stop. Some of the locations even offered free samples, and there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything, which we really appreciated. It was the perfect mix of mystery, fun, and local charm — a must-do for anyone visiting downtown Pensacola!

Booked a tour for 7pm and no one is at the office and won’t answer the phone. Waited and waited until finally gave up and left. No way to contact them.
Response from the operator: We're truly sorry for your experience and completely understand your frustration. Due to a scheduling error, our staff was not properly notified of your 7:00 PM booking. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and the time you spent waiting. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we take your feedback seriously. Again, we sincerely apologize and hope to have the opportunity to make it right.

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Pensacola Most Haunted Ghost Tour & Scavenger Hunt: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pensacola.
How much does Pensacola Most Haunted Ghost Tour & Scavenger Hunt cost?
+
Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pensacola usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pensacola Most Haunted Ghost Tour & Scavenger Hunt take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pensacola is not rushed.
Is Pensacola Most Haunted Ghost Tour & Scavenger Hunt worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pensacola, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pensacola Most Haunted Ghost Tour & Scavenger Hunt?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Pensacola Most Haunted Ghost Tour & Scavenger Hunt suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Pensacola Most Haunted Ghost Tour & Scavenger Hunt?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pensacola can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pensacola and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pensacola Most Haunted Ghost Tour & Scavenger Hunt start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pensacola within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Pensacola?
+
Pensacola sells dolphin cruises, sailing charters on Pensacola Bay, naval aviation history, snorkel trips to the USS Oriskany wreck area and long stretches of quartz-white beach. On Outty we rank every Pensacola experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Shared Dolphin Cruise in Pensacola Beach | Frisky Mermaid, Pensacola Beach Jolly Dolphin Cruise and Scenic Bay Tour, Pensacola Beach Dolphin and Scenic Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pensacola?
+
April to June and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pensacola?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
