Ashline Made Our Tour

I have taken many many many tours over the past few years as I travel extensively. I would have to say that this tour was probably the best I’ve ever been on, and a lot of it was due to our guide, ASHLINE. From the moment we stepped off our boat there she was waiting for us. We didn’t have to go and search for her like I have on so many tours, or wonder where she was. Every step of the day she was informative, sweet, nurturing, and kind. Her English is very good L, and she is very easy to understand. Many of our guides have been a little difficult to understand and you only pick up about a third of what they’re saying. She k gave interesting annd informative details about every place we went. It began to rain when we were in one of the temples and she returned to her car to bring us back umbrellas, getting herself wet. Our only disappointment in the tour was that we couldn’t spend another four or five hours under her care and education. Ashline has been a teacher- and it shows. If you can spend a day with this guide on this particular tour, you will be very happy you did! We saw so many things, never felt rushed, and enjoyed every moment. It was a very full day, with a lot of sites that we saw. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such an incredible review. We are truly honored by your kind words, especially coming from someone with such extensive travel experience. Knowing that this was one of the best tours you’ve ever been on means so much to us. Ashline will be absolutely delighted to hear your feedback. Her passion for guiding, caring nature, and dedication to creating meaningful experiences are exactly what we strive for, and it’s wonderful to know that this shone through during your day together. From sharing detailed insights at each stop to thoughtfully bringing umbrellas in the rain, she genuinely loves taking care of her guests and making every moment special. We’re also so happy to hear that you enjoyed the pace of the tour, the variety of sites visited, and the overall experience without ever feeling rushed. Your comments about Ashline’s background as a teacher are especially meaningful, and we couldn’t agree more — her ability to educate, engage, and connect with guests is truly exceptional. Thank you once again for your heartfelt recommendation and support. We sincerely hope to welcome you back again in the future for another unforgettable experience!

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Penang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book Penang Private Tour with Hill, Temple and Heritage Experience?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Penang and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

On Outty we rank every Penang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Penang Plates Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Good Morning Penang Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Penang: Flexible 6-Hours Highlights. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Penang?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Penang?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
