Not worth it

Although our guide was very nice, we were underwhelmed with the content and information. It felt more like a babysitting tour for people who are afraid to go out on their own at night. We didn’t get a lot of information regarding the history of the area. Mainly wandered round and listened to drums. The church was packed with tourists and so not an edifying spectacle. People pushing to take videos of other people worshipping is not really my idea of a good time. Guide was also pushy about getting a commission off a jewellery shop I went into on my own. I think there are probably better value tours to chose.

OLD CITY OF BAHIA

Similar to other old cities in the rest of America, with the difference that it has no residents because they were evicted in the late 90s (in a controversial decision) opening ateliers, bars, restaurants, cultural centers and other very enjoyable shops. Must be visited, at least during the day of custody and on Tuesday nights when Olodum acts

Excellent tour to Pelourinho at night

Excellent services of Your tour Brazil, the ride was very good, Vagner's guide was unbeatable, as well as Junior, the rider. The tour was otherwise interesting since there are street samba bands, many groups with drums, samba rods in different places, I could also attend a stretch of the Afro Catholic Mass in the church Nuestra Sra. del Rosario de los Negroes.
