About this experience
Pelješac is the second-largest peninsula in Croatia, located less than an hour’s drive from Dubrovnik. The region is famous for producing some of the finest red wines in the country. Thanks to a unique “triple insolation” effect—from the sun, the reflection of the sea, and the surrounding hills—grapes grown in Pelješac vineyards develop a high natural sugar content. Many of the vineyards are situated on steep, hard-to-reach slopes where machinery cannot be used, so nearly all the work is done by hand. The combination of nature’s advantages and dedicated craftsmanship results in truly exceptional wines. Enjoying these remarkable wines while surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Pelješac vineyards is a truly special experience.

Perfect day wine tasting in Croatia
A Perfect Day of Wine Tasting in Croatia with Pero If you’re considering a wine tasting adventure in Croatia, don’t hesitate—just go, and if you’re lucky enough to get Pero as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable day. My friend and I spent a full day exploring three small, family-owned wineries tucked away in the stunning Croatian countryside. From the moment Pero picked us up, we knew we were in good hands. Warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about his country and its wine culture, Pero was more than just a driver—he was our storyteller and local historian all rolled into one. Each winery we visited had its own charm and personality, with wines that were delicious and only locally available. We tasted everything from crisp whites to bold reds, and even some unique local varietals we’d never heard of. The winemakers welcomed us like old friends, and there was an intimate, authentic feel to each stop—nothing commercial or rushed. The scenery along the way was just as intoxicating as the wine: rolling hills, centuries-old stone villages, and vineyards stretching to the sea. Pero timed everything perfectly, allowing us to linger where we wanted and always making sure we had time to enjoy the moment (and plenty of photos!). By the end of the day, we were relaxed, happy, and already discussing our return. If you’re looking for a wine experience that feels personal, immersive, and rich with local flavor, this is it.
Response from the operator: Very, very big thanks for your extraordinary review. In our service, we are fully dedicated to our guests, always trying to give them a little bit more. Along with our selection of wineries, that's a great combination. The result is happiness for both sides. I'm delighted you experienced it. Cheers!

Great guide, wine, food and scenery
Our driver, Ordan, was a mine of information. Visited 3 vineyards, all offering superb wines. Ordan had arranged a table for lunch in the best restaurant we have visited on this trip, with superb seafood and magnificent views. We would not hesitate to recommend this trip to anyone interested in wine (or food). Excellent value for money.
Response from the operator: So many superlatives, thank you very much. I truly appreciate your recommendations!

An Amazing Experience
This is a once in a lifetime experience- meeting wine makers who share family stories and the fruits of their efforts in a most personal way. The pride in their product is well deserved as the 100per cent pure grape of each wine was noteworthy. For those aware of Napa, California, USA, this tout is like going back to those early days of family run wineries. Lastly, our driver, Ogden, a non drinker is a true gem - his concern for our experience was evident in all steps. His knowledge of the history of Croatia and very pleasant manner provided a 5 star experience! As a tourism professor , i gained new insights and an appreciation for this region of Croatia.
Response from the operator: Many thanks for your excellent review! This is the biggest accolade for me.

Excellent Full Day Wine Tour
Our day with Pero was delightful! After pick-up in Mlini, we drove to Peljesac while getting to know our guide and some of the local history of Dubrovnik. We visited three unique wine estates with interesting stories about their products and winemaking. The first was a small production family business with white/red selections to taste and buy. The second was most interesting to me as he was creating both still and sparkling wines and also had delicious fruit liqueurs...plus there was a small food platter to add to our tastebuds. We visited the third larger property after lunch and enjoyed our tasting on the outdoor patio in the warmth and sunshine. Our choice to enjoy lunch in a small fresh seafood restaurant was perfect...views of the bay and the boats while enjoying wine and the catch of the day. I highly recommend this tour and company for an excellent experience while visiting the Dubrovnik region.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to write this great review. We're so happy that you enjoyed our selection of wineries. Thank you for your recommendation!

Wine tour
Wonderful day spent with Ordan for the wine tour! Every location we went to was great! The facilities were so good! Everyone was so knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning about how the wine is made, and having tours of the wine cellars! And of course drinking the wine! Totally would recommend!
Response from the operator: Thanks a lot! It was a nice journey with you and your family.

Pelješac Wine Tour from Dubrovnik: Taste the Best: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Pelješac Wine Tour from Dubrovnik: Taste the Best cost?
+
Prices start at $277 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pelješac Wine Tour from Dubrovnik: Taste the Best take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Pelješac Wine Tour from Dubrovnik: Taste the Best worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pelješac Wine Tour from Dubrovnik: Taste the Best?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Pelješac Wine Tour from Dubrovnik: Taste the Best suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Pelješac Wine Tour from Dubrovnik: Taste the Best?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pelješac Wine Tour from Dubrovnik: Taste the Best start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
