Don't bother paying more for prearranged tickets

We were not able to use our pre-ordered tickets at all, and wasted the money. The tickets did not arrive in email in a form that the museum code reader could use. After about 20 minutes of trying to get the tickets, we ended up buying tickets directly from the museum for much less. Also, the "audio tour" turns out to be on your personal cell phone-useless without earbuds. The museum staff recommended just buying in person for the smaller museums in Venice. The museum itself is worth seeing, especially for modern art enthusiasts.

Response from the operator: Dear JoyceA468, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Upon reviewing your booking, we confirmed that your entry tickets and the digital audio guide were sent to your registered email along with all the relevant booking information before your visit. We regret that you were unable to access them at the museum. We wish you had contacted us at the time of your visit, as our support team would have been happy to promptly resend the tickets and assist you in accessing them.

    Do not buy this.

Do not buy this ticket. Nowhere in the app did it allow you to choose time of entry, it only said flexible entry which is the whole reason I bought it. Once purchased, they gave me an entry time that was impossible for me to attend. They would not refund me and insisted it said this in the details. It did not. I would have never bought it if it was for a time I could not attend. Horrible customer service and flexibility/understanding. Go on the Guggenheim website and purchase a ticket, way easier. Sad because I use Viator for lots of travel and never have had any issues.

Response from the operator: Dear Jennifer D, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. After reviewing your booking, we would like to clarify that this is a flexible entry ticket, which allows visitors to enter the Peggy Guggenheim Collection during the operating hours specified in the product details (13:00–17:00). The entry information is included in the booking description, but we understand that it may have caused some confusion. Our support team made every effort to assist you and clarify the ticket validity. We sincerely regret that the experience did not meet your expectations. Thank you for choosing Viator, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

Poor communication between museum and 3rd party ticket seller.

We had a printout from Viator with a bar code. The ticket was not recognized by the Guggenheim. I call and got a QR code. Also didn’t work. The ticket person at the museum said this is NOT a new issue. We had to buy a new ticket! The exhibition was great but we were out 65 euros. B

Response from the operator: Dear johnsZ6208LM, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about the inconvenience and disappointment you experienced. After reviewing your booking, we can confirm that your entry tickets were shared three days prior to your visit. Our team also tried to reach you by phone and message to ensure you had received them, but unfortunately, we were unable to connect. Following your visit, we requested additional details to investigate the issue with the attraction and assist you further, but we did not receive a reply. We regret the inconvenience caused and wish we had been able to connect with you during your visit, as our team would have been happy to assist.

    Bad experience

Again, our tickets were not accepted. Again, went to a café to get wifi trying to get additional information. They said NEVER book thru Viator. We would have been so much better off just going directly to museums to get tickets. We lost money on both museums!

Response from the operator: Dear Tom B, Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit. Upon reviewing your booking, we identified that the actual tickets and related access details were duly shared via email 3 day prior to your visit. We sincerely wish we had been contacted during your visit so we could have assisted you immediately with the actual tickets and helped avoid any inconvenience.

Peggy Guggenheim Collection Venice Flex Entry Ticket with Audio: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.

How much does Peggy Guggenheim Collection Venice Flex Entry Ticket with Audio cost?

    +

Prices start at $27 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Peggy Guggenheim Collection Venice Flex Entry Ticket with Audio take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.

Is Peggy Guggenheim Collection Venice Flex Entry Ticket with Audio worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 33 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (2.2/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Peggy Guggenheim Collection Venice Flex Entry Ticket with Audio?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Peggy Guggenheim Collection Venice Flex Entry Ticket with Audio suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Peggy Guggenheim Collection Venice Flex Entry Ticket with Audio?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Peggy Guggenheim Collection Venice Flex Entry Ticket with Audio start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Venice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Venice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Venice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
