One of Midtown’s newest beer bars to the scene, Federalist has become known for Beer, Bocce, and Pizza. They have an open aired concept, and like Der Biergarten, are also made from shipping containers which is pretty cool. Not a full bar, so not for you if you’re looking for cocktails. They have 12 beers on draft, 6 of which are locals and 6 regional. Also, their Sangria is refreshing on a hot day, and the lemonade or kombucha is a great non-alcoholic option for anyone not drinking. Bocce ball on the side of the bar is a nice touch! **No particular bar is a guaranteed stop on the tour, as we rotate through 15 different partnering bars and they regularly change. Sacramento’s first bar made from shipping containers! Staying true to authentic German Beer Gardens, all outdoors with long tables made for drinking with friends. Nice line up of 32 beers on draft and the selection is largely German, but a few local breweries typically represented. Standouts: Weihenstephaner Vitus for beer and Pretzels with specialty mustard and cheese dipping sauce! **No bar particular bar is a guaranteed stop on the tour, as we rotate through 15 different partnering bars and they regularly change. A beautiful bar, with stained glass throughout this old Victorian house. It boasts a full bar, as well as a great draft beer list that guests can read through on the chalk board. You can order at the bar and bring your drink upstairs and sit on the second story balcony. The fries are always a quick tasty fix, but the grilled cheese sandwich is delicious if hankering for something more. Ready to drink and feeling lucky? Ask the bartender about “Beer roulette!” Only $3 for a can of beer that’s just blindly picked out of the ice bin. **No particular bar is a guaranteed stop on the tour, as we rotate through 15 different partnering bars and they regularly change. Karma Brew is a snug watering hole with a fireplace, bar and a few tables. As one reviewer noted, “Think funky European pub with a classy flare.” There are board games, an attractive patio, and a diverse craft beer selection, wine, and American tapas. Worth the money. Memorable
What a blast! I joined a pedal bar bike tour on Sactown Social Bikes through Sacramento’s cool Midtown and Downtown streets, and it was easily one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in town. You hop on a big 15‑seat pedal bike with friends, crank up the music, and cruise together between awesome local bars and breweries. The guide kept the energy high, pointed out fun local spots, and made sure everyone was having a great time. Between pedaling, laughing, socializing, and discovering new drinks and food, the whole 2‑hour ride felt like the perfect blend of sightseeing and party vibes. 🌟 Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a quirky way to explore Sacramento’s nightlife, this bar bike ride is a total winner. Highly recommend grabbing a group and booking a tour! 🍻🚲✨

Amazing Celebration!
We had an amazing time on the beer bike tour!!! Paul and Erin were such fun tour hosts. This tour was probably the highlight of our trip to the Sacramento area. Our family was paired with 8 incredible ladies who were all celebrating their 65th birthdays and had been friends since early childhood. We were also celebrating three birthdays. Needless to say we laughed, sang, and celebrated our way through the entire tour. We were still singing when we rolled into the parking lot and ended up staying longer on the bike just to finish Journey's "Don't Stop Believing!" Cheers to Sac Beer Bike for making these memories possible.

Good experience
So much fun riding through the downtown area. We stopped at a couple of bars along the way that supplied us with a discount on drinks.

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Pedal, Drink, and Bar hop through Sacramento on a 15 seat Beer Bike: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sacramento.
How much does Pedal, Drink, and Bar hop through Sacramento on a 15 seat Beer Bike cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sacramento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pedal, Drink, and Bar hop through Sacramento on a 15 seat Beer Bike take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sacramento is not rushed.
Is Pedal, Drink, and Bar hop through Sacramento on a 15 seat Beer Bike worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 50 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Sacramento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pedal, Drink, and Bar hop through Sacramento on a 15 seat Beer Bike?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Pedal, Drink, and Bar hop through Sacramento on a 15 seat Beer Bike suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Pedal, Drink, and Bar hop through Sacramento on a 15 seat Beer Bike?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sacramento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sacramento and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pedal, Drink, and Bar hop through Sacramento on a 15 seat Beer Bike start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sacramento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sacramento?
+
Sacramento pairs Old Sacramento and Capitol history walks with river kayaking, farm-to-fork food tours and day trips into the Sierra foothills and Napa. On Outty we rank every Sacramento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 60 Minute Adventures - The Escape Game at The Galleria, Midtown Sacramento Arts and Food Tour, Full-Day Whitewater Rafting Trip on Middle Fork from Auburn (Class 3-4). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sacramento?
+
March to May and September to November, before triple-digit summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sacramento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
