Pearl Harbor & Mini Oahu Island Tour with extra stops
Our tour guide Will Chye was very knowledgeable on the WWII history and Pearl Harbor background. He provided us with lots of interesting Oahu facts. Will helped us navigate Pearl Harbor including advise on getting the boat ferry tickets and the air raid VR experience ($11 highly recommend). Lunch was a delicious Huli huli chicken and garlic shrimp at outdoor food truck next to a 7-11 store (you can get drinks or even food at 7-11 in addition to the scrumptious lunch). Due to ongoing road repairs on the north side, Will adjusted the return travel to the east coast to prevent sitting in roadwork delays. We saw sights on the east coast that were beautiful including monk seals, turtles, and scenic views. Will was a great bus driver and tour guide. He made the trip informative and entertaining while providing us a unique day trip. I highly recommend this tour and Will if you’re lucky to have him.
Response from the operator: Aloha Thom 🌺 Mahalo nui loa for your detailed and wonderful review! We’re so happy to hear that Will made your Pearl Harbor and Oʻahu experience both informative and enjoyable 🤙 It’s great that his knowledge of WWII history, island facts, and helpful tips at Pearl Harbor helped enhance your visit, and that you enjoyed the local lunch as well. We’re also glad to hear he was able to adjust the route to make the most of your day and still show you the beautiful east coast views, including monk seals and turtles 🐢 That sounds like a truly special Hawaiʻi experience. Mahalo for your kind recommendation and for joining us—we hope to welcome you back to Hawaiʻi again soon 🌈

Best tour I've ever been on! Beautiful Hawaii Oahu
To start out the day I admit I was a little disappointed that the PCC was closed today. I thought we would just be doing a short tour. Our guide said we would be back at 6:00pm we were going around the Island. Our tour guide was Summer! She was one Fantastic guide! She went above and beyond in everything she did from the pick up to drop off! Summer was 100% the best guide ever. She gave us an amazing history of the island I learned so much! She took pictures of us. Took us to all the places that you wouldn't know to go unless you were a local! She brought us drinks, gave us a way to contact her, bought us calendars and postcards and flags, she even bought us each a malasala which was the best donut I'd ever had! 100 times over I would reccomend this tour but make sure you ask for Summer if you want to find out so much history about Hawaii Oahu and you want to feel like you are part of her family!
Response from the operator: Aloha! 🌺 Mahalo for sharing such a heartwarming review! We’re thrilled to hear that Summer turned your day into an unforgettable island adventure. Even with the PCC closed, it sounds like she made sure you experienced the true spirit of Oʻahu — local spots, rich history, beautiful photos, and of course those delicious malasadas! We’re so grateful you felt cared for from start to finish. Summer will be overjoyed to hear your kind words, she truly treats every guest like family. Mahalo again for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back to the islands soon! 🌴🌞

Why this scores 83
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Pearl Harbor & Mini Circle Island Tour from Waikiki: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Honolulu.
How much does Pearl Harbor & Mini Circle Island Tour from Waikiki cost?
+
Prices start at $158 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Honolulu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pearl Harbor & Mini Circle Island Tour from Waikiki take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Honolulu is not rushed.
Is Pearl Harbor & Mini Circle Island Tour from Waikiki worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 98 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Honolulu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pearl Harbor & Mini Circle Island Tour from Waikiki?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Pearl Harbor & Mini Circle Island Tour from Waikiki suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Pearl Harbor & Mini Circle Island Tour from Waikiki?
+
Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Honolulu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Honolulu and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pearl Harbor & Mini Circle Island Tour from Waikiki start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Honolulu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Honolulu?
+
Honolulu and greater Oahu run on early starts. Pearl Harbor memorial tickets release on a fixed schedule, the North Shore circle-island loop needs a full day, and the catamaran and snorkel runs off Waikiki fill fast in season. We rank on whether the operator secures Pearl Harbor entry themselves and how tight the circle-island itinerary really is. On Outty we rank every Honolulu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kevo's Beach Bus Paddleboard Snorkel Adventure North Shore Oahu, Pearl Harbor City Tour, Ultimate Pearl Harbor Circle Island. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Honolulu?
+
April to June and September to November, between the wet season and peak crowds. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Honolulu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
