Memorable experience
Overall experience was great. Minus a few unforseen hiccups. That were taken care of. By far Pearl Harbor is a must see. The Polynesian Center excursion was the highlight for us. The shows we're culturally informative and educational. The Tonga show with the three gentleman from Texas, Connecticut & South Korea who participated made it worth our while and entertaining. We want to give a big shout out to our shuttle driver Summer Gibson who was the best. Had us singing pointed out every site we need to look at so we wouldn't miss a thing. A real people person. She made our experience memorable.
Response from the operator: Aloha Robert! 🌺 Mahalo nui loa for the awesome review! We are so glad to hear that despite a few hiccups, you had a great time visiting Pearl Harbor and the Polynesian Cultural Center. 🥁✨ We’ll absolutely pass your shout-out along to Summer Gibson! We're thrilled her singing and high energy made your tour so memorable. 🎶 *A hui hou* (until we meet again)! 🤙🏾

Could’ve been better
Loved the Polynesian center and the scenic route Junior took us on around the island seeing the blowhole, Diamond head and more. He was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about the island. We were not fans of the lunch that seemed to be our only food option at a local food truck with only 6 items to choose from. After lunch we went to the Polynesian center with many more food trucks and restaurants we could’ve chosen to eat at instead if we had known. The Pearl Harbor tour is only to visit USS Arizona it doesn’t include touring the USS Missouri or the submarine which I think would’ve been really neat to see. The dole plantation we were only there for 25 minutes so you didn’t really get a “tour” just a self guided walk around. We spent the whole day there we got picked up at 6:15am and spent get back til after 6:00pm.
Response from the operator: Aloha Kirsti 🌺 Mahalo nui loa for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the Polynesian Cultural Center, the scenic island views, and that Junior made the tour informative and engaging with his knowledge of Oʻahu 🤙 We also sincerely appreciate your honest comments regarding lunch options, Pearl Harbor time allocation, and the stop durations at Dole Plantation. Feedback like yours is very important and will be shared with our team as we continue working to improve the overall guest experience and communication of itinerary details. Mahalo again for joining us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Hawaiʻi in the future 🌈

Had an amazing time… Summer was our tour guide and she went above and beyond…. Took us to all of our stops on time. And picked us up and dropped us off on time. Made sure we pre ordered our lunch and had all of our tickets for each site. She was very knowledgeable about Hawaii and each historical site. We visited would definitely recommend 100 out of 10.

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, Polynesian Center from Waikiki: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.
How much does Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, Polynesian Center from Waikiki cost?
+
Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, Polynesian Center from Waikiki take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.
Is Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, Polynesian Center from Waikiki worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 114 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, Polynesian Center from Waikiki?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, Polynesian Center from Waikiki suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, Polynesian Center from Waikiki?
+
Around 40 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, Polynesian Center from Waikiki start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oahu?
+
On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oahu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oahu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
