15 minutes here
Lan Pho Na Kluea Market
Begin at the Old Market, where our foodie guide will navigate the fresh seafood brought in from the boats bobbing in the harbour. Tuck into a bowl of kuay jub rolled noodles, swimming in a dark, aromatic broth that carries a black pepper kick. Welcome to 'Old Pattaya' - a place of wooden shopfronts and narrow alleys where family lineages stretch back way further than the first tourist resort. Watch as clouds of steam rise from backstreets marked by conical steamers with space-age lids, hiding fluffy moo daeng pork buns.
60 minutes here
New Naklua Market
Moving into the New Naklua Market, we hunt down the street-eat essentials. From fish cake skewers charred over coals to pan-fried gui chai dumplings from the legendary Grandpa Ta-Pae, a local rite of passage. We’ll snag thumb-sized parcels of rice dumplings and finish the run with the crunch of khanom buang - crispy crêpes filled with airy coconut cream.
60 minutes here
Na Kluea
We’ll meet the locals who have fed this town for generations. There are juicy oysters flash-fried into a golden batter, and melt-in-your-mouth braised pork leg, slow-cooked in a master sauce of cinnamon and star anise. Try mok pla - a fish curry mousse steamed inside a banana leaf to lock in the herbal aromatics of wild ginger and kaffir lime. Among many more surprises, there’s 15+ tastings in all, as we deep dive into the unfiltered flavours of the Chonburi coastline.
60 minutes here
Pattaya
The finale to our movable feast is a hidden gem run by former fishermen who still use walkie-talkies to hail their next catch. We’ll tear into seafood specialities: fresh squid sautéed in its own midnight-black buttery ink, a soufflé-like egg volcano hot pot bubbling over a central flame, and perfectly seasoned fish fried to a crisp. This isn't just a food tour; it's a window into the traditional heart of Naklua, a far cry from the sensory overload of Walking Street. Come hungry, and leave with a new perspective of the real Pattaya. This is the side of the city's food menus that you never knew existed.

A Must-Do Street Food Tour in Pattaya!
This was one of the highlights of my trip to Pattaya. I had a fantastic evening with my guide, JT, who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. He didn't just introduce me to amazing street food, but also explained the history, culture, and background behind each dish and every location we visited, making the experience both delicious and fascinating. The street food selection and restaurants were excellent. JT also shared plenty of background and local recommendations beyond the tour. His enthusiasm, clear explanations, and genuine passion for Thai food and culture made this one of the best food tours I have ever experienced. It was a memorable and enjoyable evening.

Great Streetfood Tour in Pattaya
We had a wonderful evening, thanks to our guide, JT. All the dishes were well-chosen and tasted delicious. You should definitely come hungry, as there's so much to try! JT provided us with a wealth of information and recommendations, not just about the dishes; it was very interesting and informative. One of the best guides we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you again for everything, dear JT!

Pattaya Plates Food Tour with 14+ Tastings: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pattaya.
How much does Pattaya Plates Food Tour with 14+ Tastings cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pattaya usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pattaya Plates Food Tour with 14+ Tastings take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pattaya is not rushed.
Is Pattaya Plates Food Tour with 14+ Tastings worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pattaya, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pattaya Plates Food Tour with 14+ Tastings?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Pattaya Plates Food Tour with 14+ Tastings suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Pattaya Plates Food Tour with 14+ Tastings?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pattaya can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pattaya and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pattaya Plates Food Tour with 14+ Tastings start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pattaya within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Pattaya?
+
On Outty we rank every Pattaya experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pattaya Full-Day 3 Tropical Island tour Snorkeling Cruise Buffet, Elephant Jungle Sanctuary: Half Day Morning Program, Beginner Rider Tour Pattaya 28km ATV or Buggy Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pattaya?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pattaya?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
