Never Happened - Cancelled With No Explanation

Out of four excursions we booked on viator, this was the only one that didn't give us immediate access to view and print our tickets. A few days before travel, we reached out via email about it and didn't hear back from anyone. The automated message said our tickets would be sent to email, but we never received them, so we reached out again... still no reply. So, then, I called the number for the tour operator the day before our excursion, told them we still didn't have our tickets. They asked for my phone number and said they would message me on WhatsApp... still waiting with no message, I then reached out to Viator, who told me the operator said they had messaged me on whatsApp (NOT TRUE). So Viator gave me the tour operator's WhatsApp info, and said I needed to contact them. I contacted them. They told me they would get back to me, they wte checking on something with the location of our hotel... I waited another hour, it was late in the evening before our excursion and I still didn't have a meeting time from them... Finally, they got back to me and said they had to cancel our excursion, with NO explanation. They offered another day, but we already had a different excursion planned for that day, and they had no other days available. Very unprofessional and disappointing. They promised a refund, but I still haven't seen one. I have been satisfied with every other excursion I've booked through Viator, except this one.

Great experience…Book it. You’ll enjoy it!

Me and my family went Parasailing in DR. We are from Michigan and wanted to do something different. Alex was our guide and was very friendly and helped us with the trip. He’s also pretty cute to that helps the adventure lol. Alex picked us up from the resort and brought us right to the beach for the parasailing adventure. There was a small motor boat that took us to the middle of the ocean to the larger boat where we got to parasail. It was 3 of us that went on the flight together which was really nice. We also came to eat at the Cortecito Bar Restaurante and Alex sat and ate with us as well. Everyone was very friendly during our trip. One tip, make sure you wear water shoes for the sand and walking on the boat. Make sure to have a bag for your phone just in case to protect it while in flight. Alex took us back to the resort after the adventure. Thanks Alex for this fun experience!

Parasailing Adventure Punta Cana: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.

How much does Parasailing Adventure Punta Cana cost?

    +

Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Parasailing Adventure Punta Cana take?

    +

Plan for about 0.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.

Is Parasailing Adventure Punta Cana worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Parasailing Adventure Punta Cana?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Parasailing Adventure Punta Cana suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Parasailing Adventure Punta Cana?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 0.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Parasailing Adventure Punta Cana start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?

    +

On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Punta Cana?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
