What you get
About this experience
During our hike we explore the forests of Budapest, and visit some lookouts that provide beautiful panorama to the busy city and the surrounding mountains. We check the famous Elizabeth lookout, visit the lookout on Hárs-hegy and we also admire the unique Fairy rock. I share interesting information of the creatures living in the forest while refreshing our body and mind by keeping our legs moving and smelling the fresh air of the woods. The tracks we visit are not mentioned in the guidebooks and known only by the locals who are familiar with the forests around. If you are interested in reading maps I can teach you interesting things about the tourist map to be a better map reader and to be able to orientate better in the nature. For the end of the day you will be tired and happy with full of new experiences and positive energy. We tailor the hike to your needs, so beginner and advanced hikers are also welcome!

A great day in Budapest
We had an amazing hike with Gyuri in April. It was cool and very windy at the highest point of the hike but we loved being outdoors and doing something different than the usual tourist activities. The scenery was breathtaking, and the sense of peace throughout the journey was incredible. Gyuri was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable and supportive, making the experience even more special. He even brought snacks! I highly recommend this hike and Gyuri to anyone looking to connect with nature.

Wonderful experience
It was great to get out of the city to see it from a different perspective. Our guide was very personable and we had great conversation as we hiked through the forest. He even surprised us with a ride in the chair lift back up to where the car was parked. We were happy to not hike back up. It was a bit strenuous but very enjoyable!

Enjoying the Hungarian great outdoors at Danube Bend
我和老婆大人本來只是想找個布城附近的一日徒步體驗,無意中發現了這個寶藏行程!嚮導Attila帶我們登上了多瑙河大彎邊上的山頭,讓我們看到了一般人難以見到的美景。雖然對體能有些小挑戰,但是沿路的風景絕對讓人覺得不虛此行~My wife and I wanted to take an one-day trekking trip by the Danube Bend area. We found this trip online and got more than what we expected! Attila, our tour-guide-of-the-day, is an experienced trekker/cyclist, and he knew the region like the back of his hand. He brought us drinking water and snacks for the trip and led us to the most beautiful view points we could imagined. The walk may be a bit challenging in the beginning for city slickers, but in general a very pleasant walk, and the panoramic view of the Bend is definitely worth the effort. Thanks to Attlia, we had a great day enjoying the great Hungarian outdoors~

We had a great day with Gyuri. He was responsive and flexible to our need. The trip itself gave a fabulous view of the city. I would recommend the trip to anyone that wants to do something different from the usual tourist.

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Panoramic hike around Budapest: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Budapest.
How much does Panoramic hike around Budapest cost?
+
Prices start at $67 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Budapest usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Panoramic hike around Budapest take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Budapest is not rushed.
Is Panoramic hike around Budapest worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Budapest, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Panoramic hike around Budapest?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Panoramic hike around Budapest suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Panoramic hike around Budapest?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Budapest can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Budapest and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Panoramic hike around Budapest start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Budapest within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Budapest?
+
On Outty we rank every Budapest experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Budapest City Landmarks Walking Tour in 2 Hours, Countryside Half-day Gastro-Wine Tour from Budapest Meal & pickup, Budapest free walking tour: Parliament and Shoes Memorial. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Budapest?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Budapest?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
