What you get

    About this experience

Hierapolis ("Holy City") was an ancient Greco-Roman city in Phrygia located on hot springs in South West Anatolia. Its ruins are adjacent to modern Pamukkale. Hierapolis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hot springs there have been used as a spa since the 2nd Century B.C.E. and people came to soothe their ailments with many of them retiring or dying here. Some of the highlights; the large necropolis is filled with sarcophagi, the main street with the gates and latrines, cathedral, the theatre and St. Philips tomb. The hot springs causing cascades which are called the Cotton Castle. Because of the distance we have to leave Antalya early and return late but its worth it to experience this wonderful place.

    Excellent

An Excellent Trip to Pamukkale We would like to express our warmest thanks to our driver, Gurkan Bey. He is a very pleasant, polite, and attentive person. You can immediately feel his experience behind the wheel — he drives confidently, calmly, and most importantly, safely. The journey with him was comfortable and enjoyable. He never rushed and always treated us with respect and care. Thank you very much for such a safe and comfortable trip! We would also like to give special thanks to our guide, Kadir Bey, for an excellent tour! He explained everything in a very interesting and engaging way, shared lots of useful information, answered all our questions, and made our visit to Pamukkale truly educational and unforgettable. Great place and good service

Dilek is a very great and responsible guide. Although it is rainy today but I really enjoy my trip. The lunch is also very good.

    Nor worth traveling

This does not worth money and time you spend. The trip takes enormous time , about 4.5 hr , unnecessary stops on textile and stone factory, just spend time . Travel for 8 hours , just agitation to see salt bath , Cleopatra pool is closed and no one tells you in advance . Bad experience

    Worthy of everything

I had a fantastic experience on the Pamukkale tour from Antalya. Our guide, Dilek Sozen, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the day truly enjoyable. The vehicle was comfortable, and the timing of each stop was perfect—just ahead of the crowds. The lunch venue and food were outstanding, offering a great variety. Overall, for the amount I paid, the experience far exceeded my expectations.

A punctual and well organised tour to Pamukkale and Heirapolis

My wife and I visited Pamukkale and Heirapolis on 04 June 2025 using Solymos travels via Tripadvisor. We were very happy with how well everything was organised and special thanks to Mr. Baran, our tour guide who was quite knowledgeable and very likeable as a person, always carrying himself with a smile. He told us his stories and a lot about the culture and traditions of the land. He had planned the Pamukkale visit during other operators’ lunch breaks so that it wasn’t very crowded at the site, which was smart, we could get good pictures. They gave us close to 2 hours 30 mins for both these sites (cleopatra pools is unfortunately closed for maintenance). The buffet also is also worth mentioning, quite a lot of options to choose and was tasty. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and an easy recommendation.

Pamukkale Hierapolis Cleopatra Pool Tour with Lunch from Antalya: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Antalya.

How much does Pamukkale Hierapolis Cleopatra Pool Tour with Lunch from Antalya cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Antalya usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Pamukkale Hierapolis Cleopatra Pool Tour with Lunch from Antalya take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Antalya is not rushed.

Is Pamukkale Hierapolis Cleopatra Pool Tour with Lunch from Antalya worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 63 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Antalya, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Pamukkale Hierapolis Cleopatra Pool Tour with Lunch from Antalya?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Pamukkale Hierapolis Cleopatra Pool Tour with Lunch from Antalya suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Pamukkale Hierapolis Cleopatra Pool Tour with Lunch from Antalya?

    +

Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Antalya can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Antalya and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Pamukkale Hierapolis Cleopatra Pool Tour with Lunch from Antalya start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Antalya within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Antalya?

    +

On Outty we rank every Antalya experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Perge, Aspendos, Side and Waterfall Full Day Tour, Antalya: Perge, Aspendos, Side & Manavgat Waterfalls Tour, Full-Day Tour of Pamukkale from Antalya with Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Antalya?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Antalya?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
