Excursion from Kemer to Pamukkale with EKM Travel
Excursion "Pamukkale and Lake Salda: Turkey's Natural Places" (from Kemer) from the travel company EKM Travel. The worst trip of all my extensive travel luggage. Picked up from the hotel at 4.15 a.m., and then another 2 hours gathered tourists in Kemer and Antalya. For such a long trip the tour company provided a minibus, absolutely not comfortable. The air conditioning in the cabin wasn't working from the word at all. Fan blew, no cooling. Even that ventilation was turned off. And that's above 30'. The excursion program does not include check-in to factories, factories, etc. We were brought into a factory (onix) and a shop selling wine, sweets and all. Taken together, more than 2 hours. On the way back, we (6 people) were dropped off at some gas station waiting for a bus to take us to Kemer. It was not the bus that expected tourists, as happens in all civilized companies, but tourists had to expect a bus. According to the guide, the wait for the bus was not to exceed 10 minutes. We waited OVER AN HOUR. But that's not all. The second guide, who stayed with us waiting for the bus, could not reasonably answer where our bus was. Judging by his apparent confusion, we conclude that there will be no bus. We're forgotten. As a result, we were "put" on a bus with tourists of another excursion, which already took us to our destination. And how we envied the tourists of this route: a comfortable bus with WORKING air conditioning. We were late for dinner, of course. Does the travel company really think this is a normal approach to dealing with these kinds of issues? If force majeure happens, call a taxi for your tourists. There were six of us, not 60. But making tourists wait for more than an hour "passing" bus with other tourists - it is masterpiece, of course. There are other observations regarding the action/omission of employees of this travel company. No apology from the travel company. What's more, when the travel company asked me how the tour was going (on the appa), I outlined all of the above. To which they replied that my message had been forwarded to management. And silence. As a result, I turned to Sputnik8, where I purchased a tour. They forwarded my appeal to EKM Travel. The answer was simply masterpiece: "The air conditioning on the buses was working. In the summer heat, travel without air conditioning would not have been possible. There were no complaints from other guests about the air conditioning. The tour description indicates that stops in gift shops are possible along the route. On the way back, the bus was delayed by traffic for about 25 minutes, but no more. We understand it was inconvenient, but unfortunately, the traffic is beyond our responsibility. A licensed English-speaking guide was present in the group, but logistics were not part of its mission. Because the bus was delayed, colleagues provided other transportation so you wouldn't wait any longer." A bunch of lies. Why not? Other tourists also spoke about the lack of air conditioning on the bus. The stated tour (on the Sputnik8 website) does not include stopovers at gift shops. The so-called transfer we waited for over an hour, not 25 minutes. Particularly pleased was the so-called licensed English-speaking guide, who actually communicated with us by gesture (in our small group almost everyone spoke English). Bottom line. I highly recommend not dealing with EKM Travel. They didn't even try to smooth things over. Apparently confident they won't be without tourists.

Why this scores 53
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Pamukkale and Salda Lake Full Day Tour from Kemer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Antalya.
How much does Pamukkale and Salda Lake Full Day Tour from Kemer cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Antalya usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pamukkale and Salda Lake Full Day Tour from Kemer take?
+
Plan for about 16.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Antalya is not rushed.
Is Pamukkale and Salda Lake Full Day Tour from Kemer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Antalya, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pamukkale and Salda Lake Full Day Tour from Kemer?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Pamukkale and Salda Lake Full Day Tour from Kemer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 16.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Pamukkale and Salda Lake Full Day Tour from Kemer?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Antalya can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Antalya and add a light layer if any part of the 16.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pamukkale and Salda Lake Full Day Tour from Kemer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Antalya within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Antalya?
+
On Outty we rank every Antalya experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Perge, Aspendos, Side and Waterfall Full Day Tour, Full-Day Tour of Pamukkale from Antalya with Lunch, Antalya: Perge, Aspendos, Side & Manavgat Waterfalls Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Antalya?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Antalya?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
