Amazing Time in Costa Rica!
Jose was absolutely fantastic! We spent two full days with him, one day at the zipling, tubing and horseback riding followed by a full day at the national park. Jose was superb! He provided us round trip service from Tamarindo and was so kind, engaging and informative. I highly recommend booking an excursion with this company and ask for Jose! Pura Vida!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are very happy to hear that you had such a great experience with José during your two full days of adventures, from zip-lining, tubing, and horseback riding to exploring the national park. José will be thrilled to know that his kindness, knowledge, and service made your trip even more special. We truly appreciate your recommendation and are grateful you chose Playa Grande Shuttle & Tours for your excursions. Pura Vida, and we hope to welcome you back to Costa Rica again soon!

Best guided tours! Playa Grande shuttle and Tours
Best guided tours ever!!! We chose this company for three guided tours: turtle nesting, Ricon della Vieja hot springs, and a boat tour in Palo Verde. All fantastic! A special mention for our guide, José: he's truly the best. So kind, attentive, friendly with everyone, knowledgeable about nature, and a great driver. We have nothing but positive things to say… he was also very attentive to my 85-year-old mother. José is our favorite guide in Costa Rica. And thank you, Mariana, for the online support in planning these tours.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review! 🌿 We’re truly happy to hear you enjoyed all three tours and had such a great experience. José will be very proud to read your kind words—he’s an exceptional guide, and we’re especially glad to know he took such good care of your mother. That means a lot to us. Thank you as well for recognising Mariana’s support with the planning. We really appreciate you choosing us and hope to welcome you back to Costa Rica again soon!
