Palma de Mallorca Guided Tour with Hotel Pick up

Absolute disappointment.

The experience has been negative. Hotel designed almost exclusively for foreign clientele. They do not clean the room on the second day of stay on the grounds that it is "for the convenience of the customer". It sounds like a joke but it does. Departure on the last day is at 11 instead of 12 and if you spend a few minutes you may be charged an extra fee. The courtesy room is full of dirty towels from the previous customer and mold around the shower, so you can shower before leaving. Meal hours from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. At that hour, on the dot, they turn off the buffet and remove the dishes. The griddle is poorly tended; both the (dry) fish and the (hard) meat are temperate and cannot be almost eaten because they leave it on trays next to the griddle. Other meals acceptable. In the month of July, the Spanish clientele would be between only 5-7% of the total. Just for this reason and also out of respect for the nationals, they should extend the hours even for only half an hour. This seems easy and logical, would eliminate the feeling of discomfort of the Spanish clientele. The "All Inclusive" drink, when it comes to wine in meals, you can only choose between white, rosé or red "the house" , any other alternative you have to pay for. And to top it off, the problem of hammocks. The hotel has a capacity of about 1000 people and hammocks I don't think it will reach 40%. If you want to have a hammock in the pool, you have to get up early between 5-6 in the morning), because the other possibility, the beach, is almost impossible. They are administered by the City Council through a website. It was impossible for me to communicate with her as she was unresponsive and all the hammocks appeared reserved. Anyway, you have to go prepared to spend the whole stay with a towel in the sand. Oh, even if you have "all inclusive", you have to pay 1 Euro per pool towel every time you change it. RIDICULOUS. Quite loose and boring animation (if you play Bingo, which you do daily, you have to pay for it). The right staff, but it gave you the feeling that, for the most part, they lacked adequate training or that they came just to cover the season. As far as the rooms are concerned, you have to be lucky enough to be "touched" by one of the renovated ones (I lost a day to be changed) without getting into the quality of the towels, the size of the TV etc. The only salvageable thing about my stay was the beach and that the hotel is a few meters away. With the wrecks that currently apply and that the hotel is (theoretically) 4 stars ........ is enough?? Anyway, a bad experience Well, if you're Spanish, think hard about where you decide to go because you can come away as disappointed as I am.

Guidedless guided tour..

It was such a 'nice' 'GUIDED' tour and only for less than 33 euros! We got picked up from the hotel in a nice bus, brought all the way to town where the 'GUIDED' tour was supposed to start. While still in the bus, our tour guide Ivan had explained, that they have more than one tour option and so once we arrive, we will be divided according to what tour we chose. When i showed him my booking, for the second time ( the first was before getting on the bus), I was told like to a stupid child that we have FREE TIME, and we do not get a guide, for a GUIDED TOUR... now few days prior we went to town with city bus and walked around and for the same experience (apart from a fancy bus, rude 'guide' that apparently have a selective reading I guess, and a time limit if we wanted to be brought back where we were picked up) for only €2 each way..

Bad experience

They did not give us the transfer, either the outward or the return for exchange of person...? , we had to organize ourselves on public buses, hot and crowded with payment of ticket.comunque 64 € of the experience purchased on the site, They took them off the paper...

Palma day trip

Very knowledgeable guide who gave us so much information about the city and cathedral. Myself and teenage daughter. We had about an hour in the cathedral and about 30 mins with the guide walking in the streets. The bus has been delayed getting us there due to traffic volume and road works. So the walking tour may if been longer. But we had a good few hours to ourselves exploring Palma. Clear guidance on pick up, comfortable air conditioning bus

Brings Palma to Life!

Jaime, our guide was so personable and knowledgeable about Palma's history and culture. He put it all in a way that really brought it to life. And he had a great rapport with all of us, as well as a good sense of humor. He also walked us to a restaurant he recommended for our lunch, which was outstanding. If you can specify Jaime when you book this tour, do so!
