About this experience
As the sun dips down behind the mountains to the west and dusk begins to settle in, we will be gearing up and preparing push off from the shores of Gordon Bay. We will give our guests a brief presentation about the history of the area as well as what wildlife to watch out for on our tour. With a carefully curated playlist of music to accompany our journey and bright LED lights illuminating the waters below, we will paddle out to the Gordon Bay Islands and explore their coastline. The Gordon Bay Islands are about 400m away from our launch point After we conquer the Gordon Bay Islands we will paddle along the south shoreline to the west. This is your opportunity to see a rugged, un-touched part of Cowichan Lake only accessible from the water. Massive moss-covered cliffs emerge from the water offering as we continue to navigate down the south shore of the lake. This is also the turn around point and travellers will then make their way back to the starting point of the tour.

Sea to the Stars Paddleboarding Experience
Had a wonderful tour and time with Pristine Paddleboard Glow Cruise Light & Sound Experience with our tour and expert Josh and friends. Easy check in, quick response to any questions and well priced adventure. From start to end the tour was fantastic, the weather and lake conditions were perfect. Normally paddleboarding you do during the day but, this is a whole new level of excellent with the lights and music. Felt relaxing while exploring the lake, seeing the fish and wildlife at night and then sunset going down over the mountains. The best part was the music, paddling under the night sky. Highly recommend this unique experience with Josh.

Paddle board glow cruise light and sound experience!
WOWWW!!! I’ve paddle boarded for years and years and years, but never experienced night paddling with glow lights attached to the board to light up the ocean beneath! Also following Josh with amazing music playing created an absolutely epic, peaceful, glorious journey on the water! I will be recommending this to anyone who visits this area. It’s a must must do!! Day or night , The facilities were awesome. He met all of our needs! Even had a neck strap for my glasses so I didn’t lose them! And some pretty amazing local snacks and amazing kombucha for sale after our paddle! My hubby and I LOVED IT! THX JOSH U RULE! 💯🙏🌊

Paddle Out at Dusk for Glow Night Cruise in Gordon Bay: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vancouver Island.
How much does Paddle Out at Dusk for Glow Night Cruise in Gordon Bay cost?
+
Prices start at $19 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vancouver Island usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Paddle Out at Dusk for Glow Night Cruise in Gordon Bay take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vancouver Island is not rushed.
Is Paddle Out at Dusk for Glow Night Cruise in Gordon Bay worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vancouver Island, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Paddle Out at Dusk for Glow Night Cruise in Gordon Bay?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Paddle Out at Dusk for Glow Night Cruise in Gordon Bay suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Paddle Out at Dusk for Glow Night Cruise in Gordon Bay?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vancouver Island can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vancouver Island and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Paddle Out at Dusk for Glow Night Cruise in Gordon Bay start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vancouver Island within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Vancouver Island?
+
On Outty we rank every Vancouver Island experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Victoria Guided Food and History Tour, Victoria Whale and Wildlife Cruise, Victoria Half-Day Whale Watching Adventure with Free Photos. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Vancouver Island?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Vancouver Island?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
