We had a great day with our guide Sonia and her brother. We took the optional dance show at the temple, not mandatory but interesting.

Beautiful People, Beautiful Place
The super husband and wife team, Sonya and Kedak are FANTASTIC! We were staying in Nusa Dua, so I chose this tour because I thought it would be best for this area. When they picked us up Sonya began chatting with us and genuinely got a feel for what we were looking for - Balinese culture. She began to talk to her husband about other options. We decided that beaches weren’t the way to go, and they began the trip up to Ubud especially for us. What an amazingly personalized tour. Temples, cultural art, rice terrace, coffee and superb food for the foodie in us! Sonya’s guiding skills are exemplary and she kindly spoke in English to accommodate us. Sonya and Kedak shared their love of their village and their love of food and family. I can’t say enough about them! Just find them! You must!!

Our guide and driver were...
Our guide and driver were excellent and went out of their way to give us an enjoyable day We are 2 couples in their late 60s & the beaches we visited could only be done by climbing several steep (& narrow & slippery in some parts ) steps to reach very rocky beaches which were uncomfortable to walk & swim in. As 2 of our group have minor medical problems this was very difficult for them & we feel Viator should have stated that a certain level of fitness is required & that they are difficult beaches to reach & swim in. We also found the Kecak firedance rather monotonous & noticed several people leaving early. There were several parts of the tour which were enjoyable however I would not recommend to older tourists or anyone with fitness issues

Above and beyond!!!
They were amazing!!! I got to have time at the beach and they were able to secure tickets for the first show while I explored the temple. I would have paid a little more to get picked up earlier to stay at the beach longer, but it was great. They were even willing to take me to the dinner spot after, but I was tired.

Padang-padang Beach and Kecak Firedance at Uluwatu Temple: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nusa Dua.
How much does Padang-padang Beach and Kecak Firedance at Uluwatu Temple cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nusa Dua usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Padang-padang Beach and Kecak Firedance at Uluwatu Temple take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nusa Dua is not rushed.
Is Padang-padang Beach and Kecak Firedance at Uluwatu Temple worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nusa Dua, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Padang-padang Beach and Kecak Firedance at Uluwatu Temple?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Padang-padang Beach and Kecak Firedance at Uluwatu Temple suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Padang-padang Beach and Kecak Firedance at Uluwatu Temple?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nusa Dua can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nusa Dua and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Padang-padang Beach and Kecak Firedance at Uluwatu Temple start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nusa Dua within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nusa Dua?
+
On Outty we rank every Nusa Dua experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bali Blue Lagoon Snorkeling - Lunch and Transport All Inclusive, Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking Tour - Bali Volcano Adventure, All inclusive Private 3 day tours package : Bali highlights. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nusa Dua?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nusa Dua?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
