Amazing once in a lifetime experience!!
I highly recommend this very professional tour. Every single person I dealt with over the two day trip was 5 star quality. It started on day one with a pickup in Delhi which was perfectly on time. The journey to Agra was very pleasant with a rest stop and plenty of complimentary water. Once I arrived in Agra, I was met at my hotel by the tour company owner, Mr. Salamat, who organised my check in whilst I relaxed on the reception sofa! After 2 hours rest I was promptly collected at my hotel by my tour guide, Farid and his driver, Nizam. Both of which were to be amazing. We did a half day tour of Agra (including an amazing lunch) finishing the day across the river from the Taj Mahal for sunset. Farid's knowledge is second to none and I learnt so much from him over the 2 days. He was always on hand to explain things in depth yet stepped back and gave you time to take photos and soak in the sights when required with no time constraints at all. Day two consisted of a 5.30am start to beat the crowds and see the Taj at sunrise. Once again, Farid and Nazam were the epitome of professionalism. Lots of information and free time to roam and take photos of the glorious Taj Mahal. Once finished, it was back to the hotel for breakfast and sadly time to say goodbye to Farid and Nazam, then ready for my return trip to Delhi. If you are considering this kind of trip I cannot recommend this tour enough (and I am a very difficult customer to please! 😄) Well done all involved 👏
Response from the operator: Dear Mr. David HThank you so much for your wonderful and detailed feedback—it truly means a lot to me and the entire team……. I’m really glad to hear that everything went smoothly from the pickup in Delhi to your time in Agra. It was my pleasure to meet you at the hotel and assist with your check-in…….. Farid and Nizam will be very happy to hear your kind words. They always aim to provide a perfect balance of detailed explanations and free time, so it’s great to know you enjoyed both the sunset and sunrise experiences at the Taj Mahal…….. Your appreciation and recommendation mean a lot to us, especially coming from someone who holds high standards 😊 Thank you once again, and we would love to host you again in the future. Best regards, Salamat & Team

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Overnight tour of Agra Taj Mahal Sunset & Sunrise from Delhi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Overnight tour of Agra Taj Mahal Sunset & Sunrise from Delhi cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Overnight tour of Agra Taj Mahal Sunset & Sunrise from Delhi take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Overnight tour of Agra Taj Mahal Sunset & Sunrise from Delhi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Overnight tour of Agra Taj Mahal Sunset & Sunrise from Delhi?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Overnight tour of Agra Taj Mahal Sunset & Sunrise from Delhi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Overnight tour of Agra Taj Mahal Sunset & Sunrise from Delhi?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Overnight tour of Agra Taj Mahal Sunset & Sunrise from Delhi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
