Luxor Tour
Luxor is one of the most incredible historical sites in all of Egypt. At first, we weren’t sure if we were going to visit, but I’m so, so grateful that we did—it truly is an open-air museum, just as they claim. Wait until you see how grand and spectacular the sites are! There’s an endless number of places to explore. I don’t think anyone who visits Luxor could leave without being completely amazed. The mega statues, the massive temples—it’s an experience unlike anything I’ve ever had. Shahd organised everything for us from the very beginning. Since I wasn’t sure which sites were worth visiting in the two days we had, she carefully crafted an itinerary to ensure we got the best possible experience—and she was spot on. The Dendera site was probably my favorite. While it’s not the biggest, it’s breathtaking and extremely well-preserved, with hieroglyphics still in perfect condition. The hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings was absolutely incredible. And speaking of the Valley of the Kings itself—seeing the tombs of the pharaohs in person is unforgettable. Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple are equally spectacular. Words honestly can’t do it justice. Our tour guide, Ayman, was phenomenal. He’s a professor who actually discovered a breakthrough at Karnak Temple—a phenomenon related to the light and the equinox—which was officially documented and credited. So once again, when you work with Shahd, you’re getting the very best. The days are intense, going from one site to another, but you’re in safe hands with a professional driver, Ayman, and Shahd’s team. They make sure you feel welcomed, safe, and taken care of the entire time. I never felt unsafe, and having a local tour guide helps keep scammers away. Luxor is truly an ancient wonder of the world. If I ever go again, I will 100% be recommending Shahd and this company. I can’t thank them enough for their incredible Egyptian hospitality. .

Amazing Luxor Tour
After our Pyramid tour, we visited Luxor which was also an amazing trip. Yoma booked all our flights and coordinated all our rides and pick ups to and from the airports and with our guide. Our guide and driver were also the best, we enjoyed our two days with them immensely and the entire trip was so easy. Ayman was an incredible guide and was sensitive to what we wanted to do and not do. If anything came up, like one small instance in the airport, we called Yoma who took care of everything right away. She was always there for us and made sure our experience was seamless. Both our Pyramid tour and Luxor trip were truly once in a lifetime experiences and made so much better by having the support of Explore Egypt Tours and Yoma and her team specifically.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE!!
We have a great private tour (in Spanish) as these guys delivered 100% of all our requests. Coordinators Mahmoud and Salma were super efficient and friendly and were always there for us as at all times. Our guide Mostapha was also great with real knowledge of the Egiptian ancient culture. He would have a comprehensive answer for every of our many questions while we visited the Temples of Luxor and Karnak, the Valley of the King and the Valley of the Queens and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. It’s been a real pleasure to work with professionals like these guys. Súper recomendable!

Overnight private tour to Luxor from Cairo by flight: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.
How much does Overnight private tour to Luxor from Cairo by flight cost?
+
Prices start at $300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Overnight private tour to Luxor from Cairo by flight take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.
Is Overnight private tour to Luxor from Cairo by flight worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Overnight private tour to Luxor from Cairo by flight?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Overnight private tour to Luxor from Cairo by flight suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Overnight private tour to Luxor from Cairo by flight?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Overnight private tour to Luxor from Cairo by flight start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Giza?
+
On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
