A fabulous day!
This trip was fab albeit long with an early pick up from Mlini at 7.10am. There was only one other couple on the trip so we were soon on our way along the stunning Croatian coastline. We stopped about an hour in for coffee just over the Bosnian border. This was quite quick and straightforward considering the new entry exit system but I can imagine that it could be quite chaotic in the busier summer months. Whilst the drive along the Croatian coast is divine, I can’t really say the same about Bosnia. Mostar is about 80k from the border and it’s like the land that time forgot with just a few breeze block houses for most of the way. Around an hour and a half later we arrived in Mostar. Our driver dropped us off and said “ just walk down the Main Street” It was more reminiscent of a Turkish bazaar or Moroccan souk if I’m honest. Very slippy cobbled stones and wall to wall with shops selling Knick knacks for want of a better word or tat as my dad would say! The bridge provided stunning views but it was so slippy and crowded and hot. I can imagine the summer temps of 40 plus degrees in Mostar would be unbearable. Two hours here was enough and we were soon back in the minivan and on the road to the falls, another hours drive away. The falls are stunning and we had two hours here. I think this is about right unless you are wanting to eat and swim. After you take your pics there isn’t anything else to do and normal seating is limited. We left here around three and crossed the border again arriving back in Mlini at 5.15. Our driver Drako(sorry if that’s the wrong spelling) was really good, pointing out interesting things along both journeys, and things like vineyards and other coastal towns along the way. He did drive slightly too fast at times and there were some head in hand overtaking moments along the way so it’s quite a miracle I’m back to write this review! Overall well worth the time and money and unforgettable memories made.

Highly recommended day trip to Bosnia
My daughter (15) and I have just spent an amazing day with Edita our tour guide. She is friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Pointing out interesting facts along the way. It was an early start, but the benefit was she picked up and dropped off at our hotel in Mlini for no extra cost unlike some other Dubrovnik based companies. The early start meant we were in Mostar to get some great photos. We were leaving as the crowds we arriving. The falls were also great this time of year and my daughter managed a dip. Can not fault this trip, money well spent. Would highly recommend
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for great review, I had amazing time with you girls. Thanks for choosing our company for your trip

Fantastic day trip
Did this trip yesterday with my mum, it was a small and friendly group, the driver was brilliant - took time to describe the landscape and geography, explain the areas we were driving through. The drive was long but very, very scenic. The van was very clean and comfortable. Mostar was gorgeous, but hard to navigate as someone with mobility issues - luckily you get a rest afterwards in the mini-van! The waterfalls were breathtaking and the time allowed there was just right. The trip is timed very well, we were leaving Mostar / the falls as big groups were arriving. The only criticism I had is that it would’ve been great if there were a couple of ‘photo stops’ added into the drive. This would’ve helped break the long drive up and enabled me to get better photos. You pass so many ancient and gorgeous structures on the way that it seems like a missed opportunity not to add those in. Thank you for a great day! Would 100% recommend.

Fun day at the bridge and the warefalls
We had a fun day in Mostar and Kravica with our guide Edita. She was great. She was very prompt in getting back to us after we booked, was punctual, and gave us a lot of background about the cultural background of the area while we were driving. Great value for our money.

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Over the Bridge to the Falls (Mostar): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Over the Bridge to the Falls (Mostar) cost?
+
Prices start at $112 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Over the Bridge to the Falls (Mostar) take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Over the Bridge to the Falls (Mostar) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Over the Bridge to the Falls (Mostar)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Over the Bridge to the Falls (Mostar) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Over the Bridge to the Falls (Mostar)?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Over the Bridge to the Falls (Mostar) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
