    Highly Recommend!

What a fun activity!! Wear your walking shoes and be prepared to think outside the box.... a wonderful "escape room" type experience in the great outdoors! I suggest parking at the open-air lot on the corner of Prospect Ave. and 15th st. (Only $10) and starting by sitting in "The Fruit Stand" (1501 Euclid Ave.) to open the box and figure out the first clues. It took us 3 hours to complete, but we took our time, stopped to watch some street performers (jugglers) and took a bathroom and snack break in the middle. An all around enjoyable afternoon!! Highly recommend!

Super fun for ages 8-80 (or so)

My family--6 of us ages 12 to 79--had a blast exploring Downtown Cleveland with Escapely. The puzzles were super fun to solve (not too hard, not too easy) and we all saw public art and architectural features we'd never noticed before. Escapely is an excellent way to explore a new city, or to run around your hometown. If you have a free day (and nice weather), I highly recommend the Cleveland box.

Fun way to spend some time in Cleveland!

We had such a fun time exploring Cleveland and completing this murder mystery!! We did this as a family for my mom's birthday (all adults - though I think kids would have fun with this too). We loved that we were able to go at our own pace and take our time solving the clues. The instructions and guidance from Escapley were fabulous and they included hints that you could choose whether or not to use so the difficulty level was perfect and very flexible. This was a great way to spend an afternoon together and have a lot of fun!

Fun time exploring our own city!

We had a great time on Sunday afternoon, nice weather, a fun group of 2 families. Really nice game design! We especially enjoyed visiting parts of our own city we didn't know in detail. The first lock puzzle was hard 'Constant Letters'. We solved it after about an hour without help from hints.. My only comment is that it took us about 6 hours, not 1 or 2 ! We did take an hour for dinner, though. Very enjoyable!

Cute - but too much $$$$

Cute experience with good thoughtful clues. But definitely overpriced. Probably worth more around $25-30. I would have balked but paid $50. $75 - waaay too much.

Outdoor Escape Room in Cleveland - Playhouse Square: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cleveland.

How much does Outdoor Escape Room in Cleveland - Playhouse Square cost?

    +

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cleveland usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Outdoor Escape Room in Cleveland - Playhouse Square take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cleveland is not rushed.

Is Outdoor Escape Room in Cleveland - Playhouse Square worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Cleveland, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Outdoor Escape Room in Cleveland - Playhouse Square?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Outdoor Escape Room in Cleveland - Playhouse Square suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Outdoor Escape Room in Cleveland - Playhouse Square?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cleveland can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cleveland and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Outdoor Escape Room in Cleveland - Playhouse Square start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cleveland within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cleveland?

    +

Cleveland tours cover the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, West Side Market food walks, lakefront cruises, brewery crawls in Ohio City and short runs to Cuyahoga Valley National Park. On Outty we rank every Cleveland experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include West Side Market & Ohio City Neighborhood Food Tour of Cleveland, Cuyahoga Valley National Park Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Admission in Cleveland. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cleveland?

    +

May to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cleveland?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
