A day out of Quito
We had a Amazon trip with our guide Pedro. The tour starter with some biscuits tasting which was very good and then to the Otavalo market. Pedro was very helpful and good to tell and explain everything. On the way back we stopped in Cotacachi. The day was very good.
Response from the operator: Hi Emilia Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the tour with Pedro as your guide. It's great that your day started with a delicious biscuit tasting and that the visit to the Otavalo market was enriching. Pedro always goes the extra mile to provide clear explanations and make each stop special like the one in Cotacachi. We're happy to know you had a great day, and we hope to welcome you back soon to keep exploring the best of Ecuador together!

An exciting experience in Otavalo
It was an incredible tour of Otavalo, from the moment I was picked up from my hotel, to the delicious biscuit and cheese tasting. Afterward, we went to Lake Cuicocha, where the views were breathtaking. I loved the handmade crafts at the Otavalo market. They shared part of their culture in Peguche, learning about their worldview. The guide gave me interesting information, and since it was a shared tour, I had the opportunity to meet different people.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We're so happy you enjoyed the breathtaking views of Cuicocha, the rich culture of Peguche, and the amazing crafts at the Otavalo market. It’s great to hear that the tour was both informative and a chance to connect with other travelers.

A Fun Trip from Quito
We took this tour with Ricky Espinosa. He arrived at our hotel right on time. He was a careful but effective driver. He provided information in his very good English, on a wide variety of topics. We had interesting explanations of the making of the special cookies and a sample and more information on agave and viewed some nice artwork. We had a relaxing cup of hot chocolate and the opportunity to buy products produced there. We then moved to the Equator museum for a good explanation and brief tour. After that we drove to the lake in the volcanic crater for a short hike, pictures, and an explanation. We had a short stop in the town where quality leaher goods are available at reasonable prices. We then went to Pehuche Falls and walked to see them. Our last stop was Otavalo market where we had 90 minutes to shop and/or have lunch. Ricky was knowledgeable and helpful the whole trip and we enjoyed our time with him. We always felt safe and saw nothing in any place that was threatening in any way. Ricky made the trip very interesting and enjoyable. We highly recommend this excursion from Quito if you would like to visit beautiful places, learn intersection facts about Equador, and do some shopping.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear you had such a great experience with Ricky and enjoyed the diverse stops along the tour. Your recommendation means a lot, and we hope to welcome you on another adventure in Ecuador soon!

Excellent tour with an excellent guide.
Excellent tour with an excellent guide! From the moment we got picked up the guide was concerned for our comfort and well being. We even wanted to modify the tour slightly by spending longer in one destination and skip another one and he let us do this. Altogether an excellent experience in this beautiful country!
Response from the operator: Hi Samriti Thank you for your kind review! We're delighted to hear your guide prioritized your comfort and flexibility, making your experience truly enjoyable. We look forward to welcoming you back for more adventures in beautiful Ecuador!

Otavalo Market & Peguche Falls Tour with Bizcochos – From Quito: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quito.
How much does Otavalo Market & Peguche Falls Tour with Bizcochos – From Quito cost?
+
Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quito usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Otavalo Market & Peguche Falls Tour with Bizcochos – From Quito take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quito is not rushed.
Is Otavalo Market & Peguche Falls Tour with Bizcochos – From Quito worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quito, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Otavalo Market & Peguche Falls Tour with Bizcochos – From Quito?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Otavalo Market & Peguche Falls Tour with Bizcochos – From Quito suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Otavalo Market & Peguche Falls Tour with Bizcochos – From Quito?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quito can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quito and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Otavalo Market & Peguche Falls Tour with Bizcochos – From Quito start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quito within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Quito?
+
On Outty we rank every Quito experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cotopaxi tour from Quito -horseback ride and hike-NO TOURISTY way, Baños Full Day Tour from Quito Including Entrances and Activities, Gastronomic and Cultural Walking Tour of Quito with Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Quito?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Quito?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
