What you get

    About this experience

Imagine going back in time to hear the music just as in Mozart's times. Spend an evening in the beautiful baroque interior of St. Francis of Assisi Church in the heart of Prague, listening to the city’s second oldest organ from 1702, played by Amadeus Mozart, Antonin Dvořak a.o., delicately restored to its original baroque tuning and sound. You will hear esteemed Czech musicians perform famous baroque pieces interleaved by other exquisite musical treasures. Usually three artists perform at the concerts – soloists of our prominent opera and orchestra bodies, pedagogues of the Academy of music and drama and Prague conservatory.

    What you'll see and do

    1. St. Francis Of Assisi Church

St Francis Church is one of the most beautiful baroque churches of Prague. You can find it at Křížovnické náměstí 3, Prague 1 Although the original baroque pews offer only 70 seats, it has long and important music tradition. This organ concert series runs continuously from 1993 to nowadays, yearly and daily from Easter to November, and it's longest uninterrupted Prague Organ concert cycle. Organ of St. Francis church is an important historic instrument built in 1702 by Master Abraham Stark from Elgbogen in Western Bohemia. Many famous musitians, as for example Amadeus Mozart or Antonin Dvorak, played this organ in the past. This rare organ is the second oldest in Prague, but oldest one you can hear at concert. In the year 2015 there was large and complicated reconstruction using the most modern technologies and methods of restoration and reparations, so this instrument is in excellent restored shape, and you can really enjoy a sound of genuine baroque organ in true baroque acoustic.

Great musicians, but needs more life in the music choices.

I am a private music teacher so I have credibility for my opinion. All 3 musicians were excellent, however the song choices were too slow for such a public audience. Unfortunately, at least 4 people fell asleep. I think 4 versions of Ave Maria was not optimal. There are way more lively pieces that may have enticed the audience. Also, the final 2 pieces were acoustically amazing. It would have been great to hear them more clearly on the vestibule the whole time. Lastly, it was very cool to hear the organ Mozart used in the day!

    Magical!

The church is beautiful and easy to find. Acoustics were amazing. The concert changes, but we had the organist, trumpet and a Soprano singer. The trumpeter was playing outside when we arrived “calling” people in! All classical music. While I really didn’t recognize any of the pieces, it was beautiful music to hear while taking in all the paintings and sculptures surrounding us. It lasted right at an hour. We were able to walk across the St Charles Bridge afterwards without too many people! I only give it a 4 out of 5 because most of had to sit on folding chairs.

    Charming concert

Great experience! The church is very beautiful, and complemented with the live music gave us goosebumps. It is a small church with wonderful acoustics. Come a bit earlier to enjoy a little concert at the doors opening time.

    Church only opened 15...

Church only opened 15 minutes ahead of time and some seats were already reserved. We were advised to sit in the middle of the church for best acoustics.

    Wonderful artists! Beautiful singers.

Wonderful artists including a tenor and a soprano, both superb. The organist created a magical experience. Highly recommend.

Organ Concert in St Francis Church Admission Ticket: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does Organ Concert in St Francis Church Admission Ticket cost?

    +

Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Organ Concert in St Francis Church Admission Ticket take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is Organ Concert in St Francis Church Admission Ticket worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 96 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Organ Concert in St Francis Church Admission Ticket?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Organ Concert in St Francis Church Admission Ticket suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Organ Concert in St Francis Church Admission Ticket?

    +

Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Organ Concert in St Francis Church Admission Ticket start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

    +

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
