This cruise is departed from Dinh Vu port in Hai Phong city, and located 2.5 hours from Hanoi and the company uses luxury van to transfer guests for round trip. This cruise sails to Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba island, travelers have great time for biking through jungle in Cat Ba island and visit local village (3 days / 2 nights tour). Food and drinks are fantastic and delicious, but like other cruises, drinks are not included and you should ask for prices before order.

Amazing Halong Bay experience
Orchid cruise was amazing! They offered us kayaks, drinks, and a lot of really fun activities. Bang and Gin were the most amazing people and made the experience so much better!

Overnight in Lan Ha Bay with Orchid Cruises
We loved our cruise with Orchid. It gave us a really memorable experience that will be hard to beat. The setting is sureal, and the staff made it even more special. Gin, was our trusty waiter and made sure we were well and truly looked after. We absolutely loved it. Travel to and from Hanoi to the departure point ran like clockwork, so if you have a few spare days, it's definitely worth considering.

Nice boat, but not quite "trendy" — and a bit too touristy for my taste
Mixed feelings about this cruise, and I can't really compare it to others in the bay. On the plus side: a beautiful, comfortable and very clean boat — though I'm still not sure what's "Trendy" about it, it all felt quite classic. Nice route, and we got lucky being moored on the outside at night. Staff were very friendly, food was decent, and the rooms were nice with a good bathroom and working AC. The small pool at the front was a pleasant surprise. Everything was included in the program, which felt like part of the experience, and there was an option for an onboard massage. On the downside: ask for a room at the front to avoid diesel fumes. This is a group tour setup, which isn't really my thing, so that may color my review somewhat — makes me wonder if there are more personal, small-scale cruise options out there. Transport from Hanoi could improve too: pickup is far too early, and there's a mandatory stop at a pearl shop and other souvenir stores that felt like a tourist trap. There's also constant upselling — even the breakfast cappuccino isn't included and isn't flagged as extra. Staff and management's English could use more training investment. And there's no wifi on board — mobile coverage is weak out there, but Starlink would go a long way. Would I do it again? Probably, but maybe with a different boat.
