    Boat trip visit

Amazing place, read before like Maldives of Egypt and very true, clear blue water and amazing surroundings. Very pricy on island and cash only, don't take card. 3euro for 1 scoop off ice cream and 8euro for a beer but worth it for views and beach.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the stunning views and clear blue waters—it truly is a paradise, often compared to the Maldives of Egypt. We appreciate your feedback on the pricing and cash-only policy, which is helpful for future visitors. Despite the costs, we’re happy to hear you felt it was worth it for the beautiful surroundings and beach experience. We hope to welcome you back soon for another amazing day!

Don't waste your money on this trip

Boat and snorkeling trip to Orange Bay. We had 2 snorkeling stops . At least 10 boats in the same location with 30 people per boat. Far to many in the area. Then we were headed of to orange Ireland. We were herded off the boat to what could only be described as a holding pen. Dirty bean bags in a small area. Each boat had their own Isle. There were at least 30 boats an hour and fortunately you only got to spend an hour on the island. This is not a suitable trip for disabled travellers. There is nothing to see on the island. Don't waste your money on this excursion. The facilities on the island are also very expensive. £8 for a beer of £20 for a pizza.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review, which is not directed to our company business, but to the place itself. Orange Bay is favourite place to many returning customer. The others recommend the Paradise Island, which we can offer as well. May you find the tranquility of Red Sea holidays next time there...?

Orang bay island trip with snorkeling and some advises for a good trip

Orange Bat Island is one of the places that you should visit in Hurghada.. Why ?! Everything is beautiful , relaxing and experience new things .. The trip is in the yacht travel away from marina in the early morning ( starts from 8 am ) .. you have 2 stops in the middle of red sea for snorkling to see coral reefs and diving deep in the water then you reach the island and settle there for 2 hours enjoying the clear water and quite place there is a restaurant in the sea and swings which is so adorable you could feel that you are out of your mind and thats what every one need from a paid trip , Yes or not ?! The trip cost you 350 egyptian pound at least (almost 35$ ) , I advise you to bring some snacks , sandwiches and drinks with you , the food bar there is so expensive . Don’t forget Seasickness Cereal took them before 1 hour at least from sailing . Don’t forget your sunscreen and glaces . You could bring your own snorkeling stuff if you don’t like the things used by others . Don’t forget your towel and make up for photoshote in the island and on the boat . You could bring a flash memory containing songs you like . Be sure to bring everything in one hand bag to be sure that you don’t waste a thing . There is a photography in the trip he is expensive ( 300 egyptian pounds ) but worth it , you could try to take photos with your friends unless if you are couples and need to interest every moment .

Response from the operator: Thank you for detailed review, confirming, the experience is worth to join. Sun, sea, boat, good food and friendly crazy crew, you are welcome to sail with us to Orange bay. Have a wonderful vacation days.

Orange Bay Island: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hurghada.

How much does Orange Bay Island cost?

    +

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hurghada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Orange Bay Island take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hurghada is not rushed.

Is Orange Bay Island worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 49 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hurghada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Orange Bay Island?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Orange Bay Island suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Orange Bay Island?

    +

Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hurghada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hurghada and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Orange Bay Island start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hurghada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hurghada?

    +

On Outty we rank every Hurghada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hurghada Diving Adventure one Day with two Dives Boat Trip, Hurghada to Cairo: Pyramids & Museum for First-Time Visitors, Scuba Diving Full Day Boat Trip W/Lunch & Transfer from Hurghada. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hurghada?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hurghada?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
