Amazing Basque food/drink tour!
Iker was an amazing guide! He took our family of 4 on a great food and drink tour of San Sebastián. Great food, great beer/wine, and a great host to give us history and introductions so some fantastic places. Iker asked us for our preferences and hit the nail right on the head with what we liked. Loved every dish he ordered for us! I highly recommend!!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review! Really appreciated ;-) Best regards Iker Bardaji and Basque Guides team

Pinchos and wine tour with a side of history!
Thanks to Daniel for an amazing tour around old town! The food was wonderful but the depth and interest of the historical stories were an unexpected but pleasant surprise. We recommend others to do this on the first day as it will help orient you on the rest of the city.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! Best regards Iker Bardaji and Basque Guides team

An informative and accommodating guide, and delicious food!
Iker is a fantastic and knowledgeable guide who was very accommodating to the vegetarian and the extremely picky eater in our crew. He chose very interesting and delicious food and wines for us, based on our tastes and preferences and was helpful with recommendations for the rest of our time in the area. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you Chelsea for your rating, review and comments ;-) Best regards from San Sebastian Iker Bardaji Private tour guide in the Basque Country and Rioja wine region.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Sebastian.
How much does Open Food & Wine tours in San Sebastian cost?

How long does Open Food & Wine tours in San Sebastian take?
+

Is Open Food & Wine tours in San Sebastian worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in San Sebastian, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Open Food & Wine tours in San Sebastian?

Is Open Food & Wine tours in San Sebastian suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Open Food & Wine tours in San Sebastian?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Sebastian can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Sebastian and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in San Sebastian?
+
On Outty we rank every San Sebastian experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Electric Bike Tour in San Sebastián, San Sebastian E-bike trour: Basque History and Cultural., San Sebastian Premium Pintxo Food, Wine & Market Foodie Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit San Sebastian?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in San Sebastian?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
