Paradise on earth!
Paradise on earth! The islands are beautiful, the water is clear, with wonderful things to see on and under the water. Thank you to our guide Naidi.

Cute view San Blas Island
I loved getting to know the island although in the Snorkel area there is no clear visualization , for this hobby the Cancun area is better, besides my son was stung by a jellyfish.

Disorganized transportation with NO REAL TOUR.
So disappointed. I almost never write critical reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others. This is not really a "tour" they are selling. It is simply disorganized transportation to 3 islands and a sand bar .... and they DO NOT TAKE YOU TO the islands they advertize. You will not meet the San Blas people, except for a couple folks helping shuffle people around in boats. There is no "English Guide" and no stories told about the people or the place. No kayaks, although listed in the actual tour title! Get the picture? And by "disorganized" I mean disorganized. We got shuffled around from boat to boat, so even our small group and driver changed multiple times. So glad we did not buy mulitple day overnight tour which we heard from others was REALLY bad, as well. You get a mosquito net OR sheets. Not both. No real mattress. Super primitive. My question was "Where's the money going?" Not to the Kuna people, for sure.
Response from the operator: Hello Ms. Anya, 1. First we want to let you know it is important to treat people in the islands with respect. Naidi was making his best to understand what was the issue with you, since you had a reservation for just 1 island tour, so it was just a matter of clarification with our Viator partner. 2. You booked one Island tour, which contemplated just 1 Island and the natural swimming pool. The 3 Island tour plus the natural swimming pool is a 4 island tour it is of course more expensive, and we have different options of islands to visit. 3. Kayaks are self guided kayak which were given just in front of the beach and only our clients are free to take one to explore the islands. It is not a guided kayak tour. 4. We only work with local people, and as we advertise their English is basic, we are giving them English classes and they will improve overtime. We like to have local people working since we help to their economy and also make the experience more authentic. We are a social responsible tour operator, and most of the money stay in local hands. 5. About the lodging comments, we dont know who you talked with and if they were our clients, not sure which kind of action you need from us on this side? Just to be clear, all san blas islands are rustic and basic lodges, the experience is to live like they live.. there are no hotels in San Blas Islands, only cabanas served by the local families. It is not nice to call it "primitive". San blas is a beautiful destination, and many people appreciate the time they spend there, but we understand it is not a place for everyone. Thanks!

+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Panama City and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Panama City?
+
On Outty we rank every Panama City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tour to a waterfall and Embera village with lunch included, Ocean to Ocean Combo: Canal Boat Safari, Agua Clara & Gatun Locks, Half day of Panama city and canal tour: shared and private. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Panama City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Panama City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
