Fantastic Day
This was a great day. A long day, but Peter was excellent. We started at 6 AM at our hotel in Warsaw and ended back at our hotel just before 9 PM. Everything was tailored to us and he was very accommodating.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review and we are very happy that you enjoyed our service :)

Best tour ever!
Our driver, Peter was amazing in every way. He wasn’t a “guide” but he was still so personable and was able to tell us so very much along the way. Our daughter was car-sick and he took very good care of her and was so understanding. Peter took care of everything. There were no hassles or hurdles. The ride was very comfortable and each tour was well worth the money spent. This is the only tour you should consider booking. No waiting in line for anything. Premium service all the way.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your great review :)

Great Guide
Our guide, Piotr N ♡ one of those people one is lucky to encounter on a long journey, able o make things so magnificent due to knowing the place so well. The guide at the camp was awful (it is dreadfully crowded, chaotic, and poorly organized) and abandoned us, but Piotr took charge and saved the day..we had such a time! The salt mine guide was adorable also, the lunches were tasty, and even exhausted we all decided this was the best part of our trip so far. Worth going.

Salt mines were amazing....
Salt mines were amazing. Let's hope they last for another 200 years. Auschwitz's was chilling and sad.
Response from the operator: Dear Mark, Thank you for your review. We hope that our service and team follows your expectations and you enjoyed it :)

As good as a tour gets. Great driver. Everyone should see this!
The driver was great! If you need a driver, this is your guy. He will get you there! We had a super tight schedule and he worked it out. Long day, but amazing day. You really need to see Auschwitz or one of the camps. Very sobering what happened here and many other places. There were 40 sub-camps, didn't know that. Such cruelty. So interesting to see the Polish perspective that has rejected both Fascism and Communism in the last 75 years. Great talks, foreboding sights. 12 out of 10 stars. The salt mine is also beyond belief. You can't imagine the scale of it. So impressive!
Response from the operator: Dear Jason, Thank you for your review. We are appreciated for your kind words as schedule was really tight with your tour and it worked out as always. Best wishes for you and your wife 😉

One day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau & Salt Mine from Warsaw with private driver: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Warsaw.
How much does One day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau & Salt Mine from Warsaw with private driver cost?
+
Prices start at $825 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Warsaw usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does One day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau & Salt Mine from Warsaw with private driver take?
+
Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Warsaw is not rushed.
Is One day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau & Salt Mine from Warsaw with private driver worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Warsaw, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule One day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau & Salt Mine from Warsaw with private driver?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is One day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau & Salt Mine from Warsaw with private driver suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 14-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book One day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau & Salt Mine from Warsaw with private driver?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Warsaw can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Warsaw and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does One day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau & Salt Mine from Warsaw with private driver start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Warsaw within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Warsaw?
+
On Outty we rank every Warsaw experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Discover the Dark Side of Warsaw in Praga District by Retro Bus, Private Tour: Warsaw City Sightseeing by Retro Fiat, Warsaw for WWII Buffs - private tour with hotel pickup. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Warsaw?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Warsaw?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
