It's a long journey, but it's worth it
We flew from Cairo to Aswan (flight time about 11 hours 40 minutes) and drove about 3 hours from Aswan to Abu Simbel temple, which was a very long journey, but it was worth it. In particular, this private tour was scheduled at a time when the group tour and Abu Simbel temple did not overlap, so we were able to take our time to look around and take photos in every corner of the temple. The only disappointment was that we had to go to a small hotel about 20 minutes walk from the meeting point at 3am. We were able to wait at the entrance of the hotel, but the driver was late for the meeting time, and when we returned to Cairo airport from Aswan around 11pm, he was not at the meeting point, which made us very anxious.

This tour operator is good at stealing people's money.
Terrible people. They lied, bullied, intimidate and harassed me. This people did not provide the service they collected money for. Basically, stole my money. Horrible people. Think twice before booking with this company.

Awesome tour!
This is an experience you can't miss if you're in Cairo with limited time. The service by the agency was amazing, answering messages when questions were asked and supplying plane tickets and on time pick-ups. Our guide, Omnia, is a young, knowledgable and fun person. She went out of her way to give us information about her culture and way of life. Thanks Omnia we already miss you!

+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. When is the best time to visit Cairo?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cairo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
