    Kiran and "Must-see" spots

Kiran was a great tour guide in spite of the fact that he was only covering his colleague. He was friendly and gave enough overview of the places we visited. He helped with picture taking and offered suggestions/recommendations for best spots to take pictures. He also offered places where to pick up snacks/coffee. The places visited were the "must-see" places for every Kyoto visitor. Just be prepared to put in your 15k+ steps!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re glad you enjoyed the tour with Kiran and had a great time exploring Kyoto. We hope to welcome you again in Japan!

    All the attractions...

All the attractions covered were beautiful. However the tour seemed rushed at the end. Not sufficient time given for all the temples and shrines . Felt rushed. Need to add more time to the tour to do full justice. Also it’s expected that everyone be able to follow the given map. Easy to get lost if you don’t have network coverage to scan the meeting points.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful attractions included in the tour. We also appreciate your comments regarding the time spent at the temples and shrines, as well as the meeting point guidance. We understand that the schedule may have felt rushed, and your suggestions about allowing more time and providing clearer meeting point information for guests without internet access are valuable. We'll share your feedback with our team as we continue working to improve the tour experience. We hope to welcome you again on a future LIMON Tours journey.

    Our guide was in English,...

Our guide was in English, however, for a majority of the tour, she spoke in her native language and it would translate into English onto your phone. This is a great tool, the information was a little misleading and reading on a phone while on a moving bus can sometimes make people sick. Relaying this information prior to booking would have been helpful.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your comments regarding the multilingual guidance during the tour. We're sorry to hear that the use of the translation app did not meet your expectations and understand that reading on a phone while traveling can be uncomfortable for some guests. Your suggestion to provide clearer information about the guiding format before booking is very helpful, and we will share it with our team for review. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on another LIMON Tours tour in the future.

    Kyoto Highlights

It was Japan on conveyor belt I had not been on a day tour before except when in the bus it was always a rush got lost in a crowd separated from tour group at bamboo forest just so may people but tour group very professional contacted me and I met up at the bus

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand that the busy attractions and limited time at each stop made the tour feel rushed, and we're sorry to hear that you became separated from the group at the Bamboo Forest. We're pleased that our tour staff were able to contact you quickly and help you reunite with the group safely. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will help us continue improving our tours. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again on a future LIMON Tours journey.

One-Day Tour of Kyoto's Highlights from Osaka/Kyoto: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Osaka.

How much does One-Day Tour of Kyoto's Highlights from Osaka/Kyoto cost?

    +

Prices start at $64 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Osaka usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does One-Day Tour of Kyoto's Highlights from Osaka/Kyoto take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Osaka is not rushed.

Is One-Day Tour of Kyoto's Highlights from Osaka/Kyoto worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 90 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 1,187 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Osaka, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule One-Day Tour of Kyoto's Highlights from Osaka/Kyoto?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is One-Day Tour of Kyoto's Highlights from Osaka/Kyoto suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book One-Day Tour of Kyoto's Highlights from Osaka/Kyoto?

    +

Around 415 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Osaka can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Osaka and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does One-Day Tour of Kyoto's Highlights from Osaka/Kyoto start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Osaka within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Osaka?

    +

On Outty we rank every Osaka experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hungry Osaka Street Food Tour:15 Tastings & 3 Drinks with a Local, Ultimate Osaka Walking Tour: Castle, Dotonbori, Gems & Lunch, Osaka Castle Walking Tour and Castle Tower Admission. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Osaka?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Osaka?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
