    Fantastic Movie Tour with Ray!

Our guides name was Ray and our driver, Claude, they were the best! Ray was warm, personable and gave us a magical tour that my husband and I agree, was one of our best tours we did the week we were there! Loved every second! He even sang "What a Wonderful World" for us, which is my favorite song of all time!

Response from the operator: Aloha Lisa, Mahalo for your excellent review and compliments. Ray and Claude enjoy sharing their Aloha Spirit with everyone, making them Ohana (Family). I glad you and your family enjoyed your time with us. Mahalo again,

    Fun and interesting tour

I rate the Hollywood Movies and Waterfalls tour in Kauai tour as very good. Our driver Claude did a great job. Ray, our tour guide was fantastic. He does not use a script. He is very knowledgeable. He displays a kind and professional demeanor. He made the tour very fun and enjoyable. The tour was much better than I had anticipated, thanks to Ray. We traveled by sites where scenes from several movies and tv shows had been filmed. The tour also included a short stop for lunch consisting of a soda, hamburger and fries. (Really good). I just wish we would have been able to stop at the site where Jurassic Park & Gilligan’s Island were filmed. I recommend this tour for those wishing to gain knowledge of Kauai

Response from the operator: Aloha Robert, Mahalo for sharing your experience with Claude and Ray. Our Kauai Movie Tour is a favorite among visitor to Kauai. Mahalo,

    Great Day-Excellent Experience!!

We had the pleasure of spending the day with two excellent tour guides as we explored the beautiful island of Kauai and learned about the interesting history of movie making that has occurred over the years. First of all tour guide Ray did an outstanding job. He was friendly, professional and FUN. His personality enhanced our experience in every way. Driver Claude was the perfect complement to Ray. Fun, personable and above an excellent driver. Our safety was his number one priority. The two of them made this one of the best tours we’ve taken.

Response from the operator: Aloha Russ, Our Kauai Movie Tour is very popular. Ray and Claude enjoy sharing their aloha spirit with our guest. Mahal for sharing you excellent experience. Mahalo Again,

One-Day Tour Hawaii Movie Tour: Island Hopping from Oahu to Kauai: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Honolulu.

How much does One-Day Tour Hawaii Movie Tour: Island Hopping from Oahu to Kauai cost?

    +

Prices start at $540 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Honolulu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does One-Day Tour Hawaii Movie Tour: Island Hopping from Oahu to Kauai take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Honolulu is not rushed.

Is One-Day Tour Hawaii Movie Tour: Island Hopping from Oahu to Kauai worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Honolulu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule One-Day Tour Hawaii Movie Tour: Island Hopping from Oahu to Kauai?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is One-Day Tour Hawaii Movie Tour: Island Hopping from Oahu to Kauai suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book One-Day Tour Hawaii Movie Tour: Island Hopping from Oahu to Kauai?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Honolulu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Honolulu and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does One-Day Tour Hawaii Movie Tour: Island Hopping from Oahu to Kauai start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Honolulu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Honolulu?

    +

Honolulu and greater Oahu run on early starts. Pearl Harbor memorial tickets release on a fixed schedule, the North Shore circle-island loop needs a full day, and the catamaran and snorkel runs off Waikiki fill fast in season. We rank on whether the operator secures Pearl Harbor entry themselves and how tight the circle-island itinerary really is. On Outty we rank every Honolulu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kevo's Beach Bus Paddleboard Snorkel Adventure North Shore Oahu, Pearl Harbor City Tour, Ultimate Pearl Harbor Circle Island. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Honolulu?

    +

April to June and September to November, between the wet season and peak crowds. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Honolulu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
