Fun tour
We did the tour of the DMZ zone with visits to the Dora observatory, the 3rd infiltration tunnel and the Gamaksan suspension bridge and it was a fun tour. The Dora observatory where you can see the DMZ zone but no pics are allowed. The 3rd infiltration tunnel is just 27 miles from Seoul which is closest known tunnel to the capital. The walk down is steep and about 350 meters down so if you’re not fit the climb back up will be a challenge. You must wear a helmet which they provide before you enter. The tunnel is damp and low ceiling so you’re pretty much hunched over the entire time hence the helmets. The suspension bridge was nice as well and sturdy. The bridge is about 150 meters and is easy to navigate. You can also see the war bunkers around and you can go inside them. Do the tour when you visit South Korea.

Nice day with BergenPark at DMZ and Gamaksan Mt
This was my second tour with Mr BergenPark. It was a terrific door-to-door day seeing the DMZ from the observatory, walking the DMZ tunnel and enjoying a poke around the DMZ village. The only downside of the DMZ tour was the poor visibility, which restricted the view into the North Korean side of the DMZ. The traditional Korean lunch followed by an enjoyable stroll of Gamaksan Mountain with its famous walking suspension bridge made for an all-around great day. My guide was informative and by my side throughout often taking some great photos of me and giving me plenty of latitude to explore a bit. A great day. I highly recommend this tour with Mr BergenPark.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your nice review and I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed our DMZ tour with me. I hope to see you someday later again when you will visit again. Thanks. Bergen Park

Excellent guided tour
Our tour guide, Moon Young was excellent. Gave some wonderful insight into the Korean Peninsula history and relations. Answered all the questions the group asked while walking or on the tour bus. It was an earlier start due to limited tickets (due to recent Nth Korea hostility), but it was well communicated by the tour operator via WhatsApp.
Response from the operator: It is a pleasure to hear that you enjoyed our DMZ tour with our guide. I hope to see you when you will visit Korea again. Thanks

Great tour and great guide with Bergen
I had an amazing experience and really appreciated how Bergen made it possible for me to fit the tour within the couple hours of layover I’d have in Incheon. It was a dream come true. Many thanks!!
Response from the operator: I was also very pleased that we could have a nice DMZ tour. It was very lucky that we could see North Korea very clearly without any hazy fog. We had very heavy rain since you left Korea, especially in DMZ area. Because of heavy rain, DMZ tour was closed for following two days since you had a DMZ tour. If you visited Korea one day later, we couldn't have DMZ tour. You were very lucky. I hope you to visit Korea again with your family. Thanks.

Bergen is the best!
Bergen provided us with an incredibly informative, fun, and efficient day tour. He was very knowledgeable about each site educationally, but also the ins/outs of the locations so we could make the most of our time together. He adjusted our schedule according to our wants and needs. Bergen was an excellent guide! We are very appreciative and grateful to have had him, and we would highly recommend his tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your good review on our DMZ and Seoul N Tower tour. I also enjoyed a nice time with your happy couple, and it was so pleasant for you enjoyed our lunch, Bulgogi, very much. I hope you returned to your home with a lot of happy memory. Thanks again, Bergen Park

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
One day Private DMZ Tour & Gamaksan suspension bridge: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.
How much does One day Private DMZ Tour & Gamaksan suspension bridge cost?
+
Prices start at $119 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does One day Private DMZ Tour & Gamaksan suspension bridge take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.
Is One day Private DMZ Tour & Gamaksan suspension bridge worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule One day Private DMZ Tour & Gamaksan suspension bridge?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is One day Private DMZ Tour & Gamaksan suspension bridge suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book One day Private DMZ Tour & Gamaksan suspension bridge?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does One day Private DMZ Tour & Gamaksan suspension bridge start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seoul?
+
On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seoul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seoul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
