Delightful Day with Philippe 🇫🇷✨
Philippe our driver was very pleasant and an excellent driver. Our group’s favourite was visiting the Medieval towns. Never could have imagined how beautiful they would be!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Donna It was very pleasant that you enjoyed your tour Take care Philippe

Perfect day tour!
This was quite a lovely addition to our honeymoon trip to France. Philippe was punctual, accommodating and very helpful all throughout the tour. He took us to places we would have otherwise missed, and recommended places to eat or try. I found we spent enough time at each location, and were dropped off close enough or right next to main attractions to make our stay easier. The highlight of the tour for me was the visit to the perfume factory, and later the three little medieval villages. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who would like to visit and understand a bit more the region in just one day. It was honestly wonderful!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Lucia and Joshua for your company That day was very pleasant because of you too Have a great holidays Regards Philippe

Waste of Money
This is NOT a guided tour. This is a $1500 taxi service. Our driver dropped us off at St Paul at 9 am although ALL the stores were closed at that time and told us "go through the tunnel and follow your heart" and come back in 30 minutes. This was the same at Antibes, Cannes. ZERO recommendations on where to go and what should be seen, ZERO recommendation on restaurants. Literally dropped us in the middle of town and told us to come back at a certain time. Ironically, guidance was to be provided at the Fragrance factory where you would be shown how the perfume was made after which you could purchase perfumes; we refused this tour. This was a great disappointment and a waste of money. We are requesting a refund.
Response from the operator: Dear sir madame I did read your message before to reply I need to know who is talking please Can you tell me your name and the tour you did witch day also please because I see a lot of people for now Thank you so much Best regards Philippe

Unforgettably beautiful day in Provence!
We had a wonderful time in this tour. Philippe, our tour guide, was punctual, very organized and knowledgeable as well as attentive, courteous and respectful. The places we visited were amazing, including Antibes, Gourdon, Tourrettes and St Paul de Vence. Philippe suggested an auberge for lunch in Gourdon which turned out to be a great choice. The gazpacho and the Niçoise salad I had were superb. The owner, the waiter and the chef were hospitable and cordial.
Response from the operator: Dear Doris many thanks for your kindness, i will sned the message for the team of the restaurant , they will be happy to hear that; i enjoyed a lot your company and Stefany Take care Philippe

10 Stars - Do Not Hesitate
Just came back from Nice, and I'm compelled to write a review for Philippe. First - punctuality, he picked us up on time. Also, cleanliness - the car was spotless and fresh! Second - Philippe gave us the history of every location we visited, that way when we arrived we knew what we were going to see. We had ample time in each place, and at every location we went, the group may have been late by 10 minutes, but he never rushed, complained, or cut time out of other locations. Philippe is incredibly friendly and funny! We were a group of global strangers when we started, but we became friends by the end of the day in big part because Philippe made everyone feel at ease. Philippe provided us recommendations of what to see at each location, including where to eat. Philippe's food recommendations were excellent, good quality, inexpensive, and scenic. All in all - it was a fantastic day, we saw the entire medival countryside in a day and we learned a lot. I'd say if you want a good day, don't hesitate, Philippe is accommodating and does a great job.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
One day in provence private: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nice.
How much does One day in provence private cost?
+
Prices start at $888 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does One day in provence private take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nice is not rushed.
Is One day in provence private worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule One day in provence private?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is One day in provence private suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book One day in provence private?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nice and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does One day in provence private start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nice?
+
On Outty we rank every Nice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ★ Walking Tour of Old Nice and Castle Hill, NO DIET CLUB - Unique Local Food in Nice !, Nice City Segway Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
