Very nice and pleasant tour
The day was well organized and the riders, as well as the Touri guide were very nice and helpful. It's some time spent on the bus, but you get so many beautiful impressions. During breaks you can buy something, but you don't have to. Be sure to listen to the announcements of the tour guide at the pyramids, otherwise you will be quickly harassed (tip). Everything on one: great trip!
Response from the operator: Hallo und vielen Dank für die Bewertung. Kairo ist Kairo und es ist immer wert zu sehen! Wir laden alle zu dieser Tour entweder mit dem Bus oder mit Flug. Alles gute von MTO Egypt!

worth to see it
We wanted to see the pyramids. We have booked the trip online, very fast response and lot of informations given. We knew exactly what is included and what is extra. The way by bus went fast as it was early in the morning, arrived there still sleepy :) The museum, the Mummies were great. Cairo is little chaotic but if you are in Egypt is simply the must! The guide had good knowledge and we got big piece of the history, We recommend!
Response from the operator: Hello and thank you for your recommendation. Cairo trip is may little exhausting but you will definatelly keep it in your heart and mind. Hopefully like Egypt itself.... To get most comfort from your long traveling (from Hurghada or Marsa Alam) we are offering also private transfers or flight trips. Cairo is closer than you can imagine!

Cairo Excursion from Hurghada
We booked a trip from Hurghada to Cairo on the evening of September 10 by bus for September 12, 2019. Booking online and arranging via WhatsApp was easy, straightforward and in German. The following day we received the exact pick-up time - 1:15 am. We went to bed early in the evening to be picked up on time 01:15. After a slight delay we were picked up by a “large-capacity taxi”. This was full to the last place after a wide stop. We doubted whether it was our “bus to Cairo”. Luckily not. All were then “relocated” to a large coach. We were the only German speakers. After the English welcome by the tour guide we would be informed that we would have to change again to get on the German coach. We had already paid in the 1. Bus bar, the second bus didn't know about it and wanted to see money again. We meant that we've already paid. This was settled by phone and everything was fine. On this bus (air-conditioned!) there was a German-speaking and an English-speaking group. Here we drove towards Cairo. It was already 3:00 am!!! The journey should take a good 5 hours. After 2.5 hours there was a stop at a rest area. 09:15 we arrived at the Egyptian Museum. Our German speaking tour guide Hanan boarded in Cairo and already told us the most important information. Fairness and good tips were well received by all. (Where not to buy, how to behave, what to look for...) The museum was included in the price. she showed us around at first and explained the important things to us briefly. Then we had a good half hour of free time in the museum. This could have been 10 minutes longer. After that we were offered a Nile ride. This was not included in the price and cost 10€ per person. The alternative would have been Waiting time on the bus. We did the boat tour. Something short with less than half an hour and nothing really spectacular to see but you had been on the Nile once. This was followed by the drive to a papyrus house. There, a seller explained to us the production of this paper. This was not uninteresting. However, a small breeze of “sales event” was still floating in the air, because for our feeling the stop lasted significantly too long, as you had 20 minutes to shop after the presentation. Our stomachs were already growling slowly. It was already after 13:00 (exactly we no longer have the time in mind). Luckily lunch was the order of the day. After a few minutes on the bus we arrived at a kind of canteen. This was full except for our reserved seats. Both tourists and locals. Food was included in the price, but not particularly tasty. You could eat it, though. Drinks (Cola, Fanta, Sprite, ...) cost 2€ per bottle. After noon we went to the pyramids. Our guide asked us if we would like to go there by camel or horse-drawn carriage to a vantage point. This would have cost another 10€. We refused, not necessarily for the money. There was a lot to see on site - the pyramids, a beautiful view of the Cairo skyline, sand and also garbage. To “desecrate” one of the ancient wonders of the world in this way was unacceptable in our eyes. Too many plastic bottles, cigarettes, ... there was clearly no care. Then you were faced with the decision whether to go to the temple or to one of the small pyramids (free of charge). I chose the pyramid. You can do it, but you don't have to. Inside it was like in the sauna and there was nothing spectacular. I don’t appreciate the “hieroglyphs” or wall LUBRICATIONS there 50 years old. However, our guide told us this before, which is why I didn't have much expectations. After that, we'll be back to the Sphinx. We were able to take some pictures and then we went on foot to a perfumery. Very friendly we were welcomed in a room. Tea, coffee, ... was offered to us politely. The seller was nice, funny and also proficient in several languages. However, we had only been there for one purpose... to ultimately buy something. But he was also not intrusive to us when we left without buying. We went to the bus, but had to wait there until finally everyone was on the bus. Departure 17:00 Return journey was then as good as the outward journey. From Cairo exit to Hurghada entrance the 5 hours plus travel time within the city and the stop at the one rest stop. Shortly before 23:00 we had been dropped off in Hurghada, finally 00:15 at the hotel. It was a busy but also eventful day. The following are positive and negative aspects: + Guide Hanan (she had explained a lot about the sights as well as driving through the city) + no hidden costs (as described on homepage) + no long waiting times at the sights + Price quality ratio - Pick up until we were in real bus - Lunch - Times/journey times should be adapted to reality on the homepage - Tight schedule in Cairo We would give the trip 3.5 out of 5 stars and recommend to anyone who is not afraid of such a long bus ride and would like to see the pyramids.
Response from the operator: Vielen Dank Felix, wir freuen uns über Ihr Feedback und Ihre Empfehlungen!

One day Cairo pyramids tour from Hurghada with small group: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hurghada.
How much does One day Cairo pyramids tour from Hurghada with small group cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hurghada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does One day Cairo pyramids tour from Hurghada with small group take?
+
Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hurghada is not rushed.
Is One day Cairo pyramids tour from Hurghada with small group worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hurghada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule One day Cairo pyramids tour from Hurghada with small group?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is One day Cairo pyramids tour from Hurghada with small group suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 14-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book One day Cairo pyramids tour from Hurghada with small group?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hurghada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hurghada and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does One day Cairo pyramids tour from Hurghada with small group start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hurghada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hurghada?
+
On Outty we rank every Hurghada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hurghada Diving Adventure one Day with two Dives Boat Trip, Hurghada to Cairo: Pyramids & Museum for First-Time Visitors, Scuba Diving Full Day Boat Trip W/Lunch & Transfer from Hurghada. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hurghada?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hurghada?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
