    Fabulous day in Olympia!

We had a fantastic tour of Olympia with Andreas. The meet-up point was just a short walk from the cruise port and easy to find. From that point forward, my family felt taken care of. The van was comfortable for our group of 15 and nice and cool given the August heat. We were not rushed through the ancient grounds/museum and as we drove between stops Andreas shared stories of the area and his life. We really enjoyed the olive oil press and tasting, as well. Finally, our group of teenagers was beach focussed so Andreas adjusted his schedule to allow for a longer beach trip to a beautiful sand beach. The ocean view restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious. It was a great day! Thank you for everything, Andreas!

    Best tour ever!!

We had an excellent tour with Stathis from Stathopoulos Tour in Katakolo. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly throughout the day. He shared interesting information about the area and answered all of our questions with great expertise. What we appreciated most was that he never rushed us. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy each stop, take photos, explore, and truly experience the places we visited. The tour was well organized, relaxing, and tailored to our pace. Stathis made our visit to Katakolo memorable, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and thoughtful guide in Greece. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Excellent Day in Olympia with Stathis

Stathis was the best tour guide we could have asked for. His attention to detail on our tour was unparalleled and he truly made us feel like family. He was a very safe driver, his vehicle was clean, and he provided so much information about Olympia and the surrounding areas. We were able to explore local gems and had a traditional Greek lunch with recommendations by Stathis. It was truly an incredible day and one we won’t forget. Thank you Stathis!

    Dora our tour guide was...

Dora our tour guide was absolutely wonderful! She was very knowledgeable about the area. She was also extremely friendly and allowed us to make some adjustments to our schedule. We wanted to spend more time in Olympia and walk around the town, so decided to skip the beach. The olive press was very interesting, my kids even enjoyed learning about the process and loved sampling the oils. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially to those with limited time as you will learn and see a lot!

    Fantastic outing

Our guide, Charis, was absolutely great. He agreed to start early to assist us in avoiding the cruise bus crowds at the Olympic site. Very nice van as well. The site itself was quite moving, allowing one to imagine the first Olympic games. The museum was very well done and interesting. Later, we visited a family owned olive oil company and learned a-lot as well as sourcing some great products after a fun tasting. The best part was stopping by Charis’ house to get some of his home grown oranges. They were undoubtedly the best we have ever eaten. All gone within 30 minutes of our return. A great outing and I highly recommend this excursion.

Olympia shore Excursion - 4 hour tour (Olympia, Olive press, Beach): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Olympia shore Excursion - 4 hour tour (Olympia, Olive press, Beach) cost?

    +

Prices start at $319 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Olympia shore Excursion - 4 hour tour (Olympia, Olive press, Beach) take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is Olympia shore Excursion - 4 hour tour (Olympia, Olive press, Beach) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Olympia shore Excursion - 4 hour tour (Olympia, Olive press, Beach)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Olympia shore Excursion - 4 hour tour (Olympia, Olive press, Beach) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Olympia shore Excursion - 4 hour tour (Olympia, Olive press, Beach)?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Olympia shore Excursion - 4 hour tour (Olympia, Olive press, Beach) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
