1. ISKCON Temple Bangalore

   Please note: On this tour, we visit one of the two temples listed — ISKCON Temple or the Bull Temple. As you step into the ISKCON Temple along with our erudite guide, you are immediately enveloped in a sense of grandeur, where soaring gopurams and gilded domes glisten under the sunlight. You walk through vast courtyards filled with the sound of kirtans, the aroma of incense, and the sight of devotees moving in rhythmic devotion, creating an atmosphere both vibrant and serene. As you stand before the sanctum of Lord Krishna, you feel a rare stillness wash over you, as if the chaos of the city has dissolved into a moment of divine presence.

2. Bangalore Palace

   As you arrive at Bangalore Palace, your guide leads you around its ivy-draped walls, turreted towers, and arched windows, pointing out details that reveal the Wodeyar’s fascination with English-style grandeur. You pause to take in the imposing façade, its battlements and balconies narrating a story of power and prestige borrowed from Europe yet rooted in Bangalore’s own royal legacy. On this tour, you explore the exteriors of the monument, where the palace’s true charm lies in its stately presence and architectural intrigue. Please note: Bangalore Palace is closed on Mondays. On those days, we will instead explore Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace.

3. Vidhana Soudha and Attara Kacheri

   As you stand before the grand Vidhana Soudha, you uncover the story of how Karnataka came to house India’s largest state legislature building, its granite and marble façade blending diverse Indian architectural styles into a symbol of democracy. Guided through its imposing presence, you begin to see not just a monument, but a living institution of governance, framed by statues that honor India’s leaders and ideals. Turning across the road, your eyes meet the striking Pompeian-red Attara Kacheri, a Greco-Roman legacy of 1868 that now serves as the High Court of Karnataka, its stately form standing in deliberate contrast to the modern seat of power.

Your guide leads you past the elegant Glass House, inspired by London’s Crystal Palace and built in 1889, and toward Bangalore’s only national monument, where the garden’s history intertwines with the city’s own. 5. Bull Temple

   Please note: On this tour, we visit one of the two temples listed — either the Bull Temple or the ISKCON Temple. As you enter the Big Bull Temple with your guide, you are immediately struck by the sight of the colossal granite bull—its smooth, dark surface gleaming from centuries of ritual anointing. The air is thick with the scent of incense and the murmur of prayers, as devotees circle the sanctum with quiet reverence. Here, the bull is not just a companion of Lord Shiva, but the deity himself, worshipped with deep devotion since the late medieval period.
