    Fun experience

This was a fun experience learning a few things about making cocktails. When we bought the tickets were told we would be getting 2 cocktails - 1 we made and 1 our instructor made. We did get the 1 we made, however the instructor only made 1 cocktail and split it between the group - so basically we each received about a shot.

    Shaken or Stirred

What a fun experience! We arrived a little early so we were able to enjoy the tasting and order a drink at the bar. The class comes with several nice discounts at the venue. Sabrina our cocktail instructor did a great job teaching us the whys and methodology behind making stirred drinks verses shaken drinks. Though only 30-40 minutes, the class was hands on and we were able to enjoy our cocktail at the end of class. We rounded out our experience by having an early dinner at the restaurant. The food and service was very good!

    “Shaken and Stirred” Cocktail Class

The Distillery is beautiful and would be a great location for a private event. Randy was a great instructor and the drinks were very good! He demonstrated how to make a stirred cocktail using their Pecan Whiskey and we had a sample shot of that drink. The interactive portion was when we made a shaken Peach Lemon Drop Martini using their Peach Vodka. That was fun and the final full sized drink was delicious. I purchased a bottle of the Peach Vodka after enjoying lunch in the restaurant. The food was very tasty and the atmosphere was inviting.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! We truly appreciate your feedback and are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your time with us. Your kind words inspire us to continue providing the best experience possible.

Old Savannah Distillery Cocktail Lesson with Tasting: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Savannah.

How much does Old Savannah Distillery Cocktail Lesson with Tasting cost?

    +

Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Savannah usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Old Savannah Distillery Cocktail Lesson with Tasting take?

    +

Plan for about 0.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Savannah is not rushed.

Is Old Savannah Distillery Cocktail Lesson with Tasting worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Savannah, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Old Savannah Distillery Cocktail Lesson with Tasting?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Old Savannah Distillery Cocktail Lesson with Tasting suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Old Savannah Distillery Cocktail Lesson with Tasting?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Savannah can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Savannah and add a light layer if any part of the 0.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Old Savannah Distillery Cocktail Lesson with Tasting start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Savannah within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Savannah?

    +

Savannah is a walking city with a dense guide market, which means quality spread is wide. Historic district walks, Bonaventure Cemetery trips, trolley hop-on routes and ghost tours with tavern access make up most bookings. Outty Ranking leans on licensed-guide status and group size, since the squares get loud once a tour passes twenty people. On Outty we rank every Savannah experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Historic Savannah Guided Walking Tour, Bonaventure Cemetery Walking Tour with Transportation, Haunted Savannah Booze and Boos Ghost Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Savannah?

    +

March to May for azaleas, or October to November for cool evenings. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Savannah?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
