Great to take at your own leisure
A great experience if you're limited on time or don't want to be in a guided tour. I have done a few of these on my trip and I love the freedom they bring. The trip itself is great value and I love that you're not in a large group. I broke the trip into two parts of the day to get out of the heat. The narration is great but I loved I could just read it. It took me to sone lovely spots with great atmosphere and some places off the beaten track.

Is a self guided tour (no guide)
Great opportunity to learn a lot about the history of Naples and see the Maradona murials. However, I did not realise it was a self guided tour using an app (i.e. with no physical guide). Meaning, because of the heat i didnt do the whole tour.

A walk that really adds depth to your visit
I chose this tour during my stay in Naples and it ended up being one of the best decisions of my trip. I booked it directly through the official Exploro website, which was slightly cheaper than other platforms, so that was a nice bonus. It gives you a clear route and, more importantly, helps you understand what you’re looking at instead of just ticking off landmarks. Via San Gregorio Armeno really stood out. I was there in December, so the atmosphere was especially lively, but the artisan workshops are there all year round. Watching the nativity figures being crafted while listening to the story behind that tradition made the whole street feel much more authentic and rooted in everyday life. There are also a few small surprises along the way. Palazzo Venezia is one of them. From the outside it’s easy to overlook, but stepping inside and discovering that small garden was honestly unexpected. A quiet corner in the middle of all the noise and color. By the end I wasn’t just wandering anymore. I had context, and that changed the way I looked at everything around me.
