I'll definitely book another tour again here

The guided tour with Mr T. finally gave me a better insight into Indian culture. The history and the people are so interesting! All the locals around us were really friendly and Mr T. was just hilarious. Amongst the thousands of people there, I was the only white person for over four hours. So it really is authentic and regional. (Unfortunately, I couldn't pronounce his name, that's why Mr T. 😂)

The best tour I’ve had

Tavrej is such a knowledgeable, reliable and humorous guide, who designed an efficient, interesting and of course very “delicious” tour, and always so generous to spend more time to share more of Delhi with me. As a solo traveler, I feel very comfortable and relax with his company. This tour is the best one I have ever joined, it will definitely enhance your experience in Delhi.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much Tyani pepelope for this wonderful review! It was honestly a pleasure having you along for the food adventure. I’m so happy you felt comfortable and relaxed especially as a solo traveler! And hearing that this was the best tour you’ve ever joined now I have a lot of pressure to keep that title! Ha ha Thank you for trusting me to show you Delhi through its food, streets, stories, and a little bit of madness. It was truly lovely meeting you, and I hope the flavours of Delhi stay with you long after the tour! Best Regards! Tavrej

Visiting temples and markets, tons of food tastings, great female guide!

This is a fun and packed tour: we went into 3 different religious temples, saw the birds at the bird hospital, sampled so much local food that I could burst, and took so many photos! Added bonus that this is a female guide, for extra comfort and security!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much lizza for joining us! We’re so happy you enjoyed the temples, Bird Hospital, local food, and all those photo moments! And yes, having a female guide makes the experience feel even more comfortable and relaxed. We loved having you with us and hope you take home lots of great memories from Old Delhi! Best Regards! Dolly

月光市集探索與街頭小吃體驗(安全的!)

The easiest way to explore the old Delhi with fantastic and professional tour guide. Safe and clean street snacks break the stereotypes of the local food. Great adaptability to all kinds of sudden situation. I'm grateful to be in good hands of Dolly.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much Cherry for the lovely review! 😊 I’m glad you felt safe and well looked after while exploring the madness of Old Delhi! Haha And Yes, the street food is much cleaner than its reputation suggests! It was a pleasure having you with me — thank you for trusting Dolly to handle all the unexpected Delhi adventures Best Regards ✨ Dolly

Old Delhi Street Food Spice Market & Heritage Walk: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does Old Delhi Street Food Spice Market & Heritage Walk cost?

+

Prices start at ₹2,999 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Old Delhi Street Food Spice Market & Heritage Walk take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.

Is Old Delhi Street Food Spice Market & Heritage Walk worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 85 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Old Delhi Street Food Spice Market & Heritage Walk?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Old Delhi Street Food Spice Market & Heritage Walk suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Old Delhi Street Food Spice Market & Heritage Walk?

+

Around 30 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Old Delhi Street Food Spice Market & Heritage Walk start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

+

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, 5 Nights 6 Days Private Golden Triangle Tour - Delhi Agra Jaipur, Old & New Delhi Private City Tour – Traveler’s Choice (Top Rated). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Old Delhi Street Food Spice Market & Heritage Walk?

+

Included: Meals. Not included: Any personal expenses. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
