    Sunset and Black Sand

I have mixed feels as the day was fantastic in the end but started off poorly as my ticket said I was to be picked up at the top of the cable car but this is a walking only area and there was no one to meet me. I don't speak the language and was unable to find clear directions to the actual meeting spot. Ultimately the tour left 10 minutes early and I was left behind. I paid for a cab to take me to the first stop, 30 minutes away. From there, the day was much better. Just be sure to get clear directions and leave lots of time to connect. The trip to the black sand beach in Perissa was definitely worth it and I enjoyed a delicious lunch seaside.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry for the confusion at the meeting point and the inconvenience it caused—this is something we will work to clarify for future guests. We’re glad to hear the rest of the day improved and that you enjoyed Perissa’s black sand beach and the seaside lunch. We truly appreciate your understanding and comments. MTM Customer Service

    Great experience for great price!

This was an amazing tour. It was a full day packed with interesting information. All of our guides were well informed and able to add extra insights into our stops. This tour is well worth the money! Be ready to walk a lot up hill. Our only disappointment was how far the meeting point was from the cable cars where we arrived. It took approximately 20 minutes to walk to that point.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your great review! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the full day and found our guides informative and engaging. We truly appreciate your note about the meeting point and understand the walk can be challenging—your feedback helps us improve the experience. Thank you again for joining us, and we hope the rest of your visit was just as memorable! MTM Customer Support

    The tour itself was very...

The tour itself was very well done. However, connecting with the Tour operator was difficult to find out the meeting place once we arrive to the airport. We were told from the ticket to meet someone at the airport. That was not correct. Please make this more transparent as it caused us some stress at the beginning of the tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the tour itself. We apologize for the confusion regarding the meeting point. As indicated in the product details, an email is sent with the exact pickup location and time, and we always encourage guests to contact the local supplier if it’s not received. We appreciate your comments and will work to make this information clearer for future travelers. MTM Customer Support

Oia Sunset and Traditional Villages Full Day Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.

How much does Oia Sunset and Traditional Villages Full Day Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $7 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Oia Sunset and Traditional Villages Full Day Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.

Is Oia Sunset and Traditional Villages Full Day Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 66 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Oia Sunset and Traditional Villages Full Day Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Oia Sunset and Traditional Villages Full Day Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Oia Sunset and Traditional Villages Full Day Tour?

    +

Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Oia Sunset and Traditional Villages Full Day Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santorini?

    +

On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santorini?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santorini?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
