Amazing Experience!
We had an amazing time on our private tour with Michael. He is very knowledgeable, and we learned SO much! He made the tour fun, and enjoyable and his inside tips helped us make the most of our time at every stop. Thanks for a great experience and taking such good care of us! We will be recommending you to everyone we know that plans a trip to Oahu.
Response from the operator: It was such a pleasure showing you around and thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a kind review. Itʻs great to hear you enjoyed Your Private Tours of Oahu and hope to see you again soon.

Awesome Island Tour
My family had the pleasure of using Michael and Halia Tours twice when we stayed on Oahu. We have two kids ages 9 and 13, and they also had a blast. Michael was on time and was willing to take us anywhere we wanted and wait as long or as little as we needed at each place. He knows the island so well, and all the tips he shared helped us make good choices for what we wanted to do each day. One really great thing about Michael was that he was super flexible. Having kids, we often had to make plan changes on the fly and Michael had no problem with anything and was always super accommodating. I just can’t say enough good things about this guy. He knows so much about the locations and history of Hawaii that I came away learning so many cool things about the places we visited. His recommendations for food and shopping were spot on. Add to that he cares deeply about the environment, culture, and history of Hawaii, and my whole family was impressed. But perhaps my favorite thing about our two full days with Halia Tours was how much positive energy Michael communicated. He is the type of guy you want to be friends with. Finally, Michael was so good with making sure he spent equal time talking and staying aware of all of our needs. He was so good with our kids. They just loved him and still talk about him 3 weeks later. My 13 year old son kept asking me if we can stay in touch with Michael after we go home :o). I don’t know when we will go back to Oahu, but hopefully it is soon, and the first thing we will be setting up is a few days with Michael from Halia Tours! Thank you again from Tony, Tara, Jamison, and MooMoo.
Response from the operator: Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such an incredibly kind review of Your Private Tours of O'ahu, Hawai'i. It was an absolute pleasure spending time with your family and your children are AWESOME! Thank you for the opportunity to show you around.

The best tour and guide we could have hoped for!
We spent the most engaging, educational and fun day with Michael of Hali'a Tours. He was prompt, extremely knowledgeable, a great conversationalist and story-teller, and flexible to our requirements. Our initial enquiry had quite the wishlist, and not only did we accomplish most of those at our own pace, we also had the privilege of being able to learn about local culture, history, food, and folklore but also to be able to give back to the community by helping to clean up a local beach. Certainly the clean up was the best part of my entire family's day. The cost of the 9hr Tour (which ended up being almost 12hours without any additional cost) was extremely reasonable, and we got so much more out of our day than we had anticipated. We can't wait to come back to Hawaii to explore more with Michael and Hali'a Tours.
Response from the operator: Mahalo nui loa for such a kind review of Your Private Oahu Tours and Hali`a Tours and Transportation. It was so much fun showing you around and your family is incredible. A hui hou a me mālama pono.

Best Anniversary Ever
Michael Waters is one of the best tour guides I could have asked for. We had a tour with him back in June 2018 and we went back on 12/5/19. He helped me with planning a surprise vow renewal for my husband for our 21st Anniversary. He is very knowledgeable with HI culture. I cannot wait to go back in a few years and have him show us around again. He also give me ideas of were to get leis for our ceremony. Mahalo, aloha nui Michael for everything.
Response from the operator: Jamie you and the rest of your `ohana are incredible! You always choose Your Private O`ahu Community Service Tours and you are such a pleasure hang out with. It was so good to see you again and thank you for taking the time to leave such a kind review of Hali`a Tours and Transportation.

Why this scores 46
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Oahu Customizable Private Community Service Voluntourism Offer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.
How much does Oahu Customizable Private Community Service Voluntourism Offer cost?
+
Prices start at $549 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Oahu Customizable Private Community Service Voluntourism Offer take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.
Is Oahu Customizable Private Community Service Voluntourism Offer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Oahu Customizable Private Community Service Voluntourism Offer?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Oahu Customizable Private Community Service Voluntourism Offer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Oahu Customizable Private Community Service Voluntourism Offer?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Oahu Customizable Private Community Service Voluntourism Offer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oahu?
+
On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oahu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oahu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
