Fantastic Nusa Penida Tour - Initial communication could be a little biit better though.
Had a fantastic time travelling around Nusa Penida with my guide today. Posts of amazing spots hidden away that were absolutely breathtaking. The guide was awesome and took lots of photos along the way. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore East and West Nusa Penida. The only issue I encountered was getting a bit lost at the meeting point due to not being communicated with prior to the trip date, but that was resolved soon enough and I was able to get on my way shortly after the expected start time.

Disappointing, Unorganized and not worth it.
This was awful! The execution and communications were an absolutely nightmare. We confirmed for an 8am tour, and didn't receive any arrivals until 11pm the night before via whats app(we were already asleep). In the instructions, they said that our tour was actually at 7:30, and that we had to arrive 45min early at 6:45. We woke up at 6am, but there was physically no way for us to arrive at that time. Which mean we missed the 7:30 boat, and the organizer was unresponsive all morning, and didn't give us adequate instruction. We didn't leave the dock until the 9am boat, meaning that we didn't make it to the island until after 1030a. We only got to go to 2 of the 10 spots. Our driver was rude and was truly just a driver. We didn't learn anything about any of the spots we went to. We spent 4 of the 5 hours we had driving in a car in virtual silence - AND he got a flat tire which meant that the 1 more stop we could've made, didn't happen. Super Super disappointed in this experience and the communication. Wasn't worth it at all.

Horrible Service.. Unexpected from Viator
Horrible coordination... No proper information on the route planning or mode of transport... The tour guide was not speaking English at all neither could understand it. Insisted on skiping points due to the time constraints. There was no clarity in how and from where to meet. Only mobile numbers and what's app messages were sent once I started enquiries. SCAM / WARNING
ALERT / WARNING / SCAM / SCAM Be very careful with this tourism company. We organized a 2-day tour with them via WhatsApp to visit Nusa Penida, The first day in the East area and the second in the West. A super young driver showed up who didn't know English and who was driving like a crazy person. We told him that we wanted to go first to see the east and then the west, because it was better for us because we wanted to visit Kelingking beach at sunrise. We showed it to him, he said yes, yes, but then he did whatever he wanted and took us to the other side first. That's not the worst of all, when we returned from the tour and were already returning to the hotel, with 10 minutes left to get to the hotel, the driver stopped on the side of the road where there was no coverage and told us that in order to take us to the hotel, we had to pay an extra, when everything was already agreed upon for the tour to start and end at the hotel. I don't know I could talk to him because he didn't know English. In short, he called the boss and the boss told us that we had to pay an extra 175k no matter what and they started to get cocky that he was going to come and make us pay that extra. We took our things, paid the agreed price for 1 day and walked to the hotel. It is a common practice they use on the island of Nusa Penida. Pure mafia and scammers, always better at least in Nusa Penida (because in the rest of the places we have not had problems) hire the tour with the hotel. After this day, we booked the tour with the hotel and it was the best tour of all. Much safer and without last minute problems. Very beautiful island, but they try to scam you for everything
Response from the operator: This guest did not know the location of where he was staying, he stated that his location was close to our company location (next to the police station) after the trip it turned out that the actual location was about 10 kilometers further so we asked for additional fees, dishonest guests like this should not be worth it being in Nusa Penida, very troublesome
