Nusa Penida Private Snorkeling and West Tour Start from Bali

1/5 - Worst excursion ever – Total scam and wasted day

​Do not book this excursion! We paid for a dedicated 3-site snorkeling tour, but the organizer ruined our entire experience to accommodate other passengers who had a land tour afterwards. ​The entire boat trip lasted barely an hour (departed at 8:55 AM and returned to the port at 10:10 AM). Here is what actually happened: ​Stop 1 (Manta Bay): We were forced out of the water after only 5 minutes. ​Stop 2: We stayed less than 10 minutes. ​Stop 3: Cut short once again and completely rushed. ​We spent our whole morning being rushed on a boat instead of enjoying the water. Having only 10 days in Bali, wasting a full day on such unprofessional service is extremely frustrating. Absolute lack of respect for customers. Requesting a full refund.

Private snorkelling trip

Booked a private snorkelling trip for me and my husband, Was so stoked with the experience and service! I have booked a group snorkelling tour before and this was by far, much better. Having a guide to personally swim with you to help point out and explain everything was amazing. He also captured everything on a Go Pro so we have some amazing videos and pictures to look back on. Although the weather did not allow a trip to Manta Bay we did see plenty of fish and also managed to see a turtle. We can 100% recommend and are looking forward to going back.

Great snorkelling, the rest not recommendable

What we loved: Guides and drivers did an amazing job, especially with the snorkelling. Everything went smoothly with the pickup and the transfer to the snorkelling spots. Saw many mantas, a turtle and fish. Our guide on the boat was also an amazing cameraman. What we did not enjoy: Everything was a bit hectic. We would have appreciated rather one stop less than doing the full tour in kind of a hurry. Everything was extremely crowded, especially when we did the rest of the tour after the snorkelling. But even there, we got the feeling that the one turtle was being chased for the perfect picture. Conclusion: If you want to snorkel, the trip is highly recommendable, although it was rather crowded, but nevertheless you can see a lot. The rest of the trip, we would not recommend due to these insane masses of cars and tourists. But still: Thanks to all the guides and drivers who did an amazing job!!! 😌

Loved this tour! Not only did our tour guides feel like friends, but they were also incredibly knowledgeable. They made the experience fun, engaging, and informative from start to finish. It was 100% worth it, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

We did a public tour, not the private one, but you can not select this. Ok snorkling was public, the island tour was private. Ok where to start. Pickup was ok. We were told to wait in the hotel lobby, but the driver was waiting in a parking lot near by. I don't know why he didn't moved but he called me via WhatsApp and asked me if I am ready.... But transfer was ok. Harbour was crowded and chaotic, but somehow we got on the right vessel (they give you colored batches). The speedboat was old, the lifejackets were dirty and mouldy... The trip was .... interesting. Crowded boat, hot sticky air... After arrival on nusa penida we were picked up by our guide and guided to snorkling. We got Equipment and short introduction (people there very stressed and hurrying) than we got on the boat.... Also crowded. The way to the boat was also interesting. Demaged paths, a pipe, .... We were told to take our Backpacks with us, but realised, we were the only ones on board with stuff. One Backback was completely wet afterwards, as there was no space to storn it. Snorkling itself was ok. First spot: No mantas, no fish Spot 2 to 4: some fish. But nothing special. Corals all demaged. Guides stayed on the boat. Noone was guiding us.... After snorkling was the island tour. Guide very nice. Food was ok. The 3 spots were cool, but massivly overcrowded. Several shops and Restaurants around. All in all 2 hours of driving and walking for some pics.
