Kelingking Beach
The first stop is Kelingking Beach, one of the most striking natural landmarks in Indonesia. Kelingking translates in English to “pinkie finger,” but the breathtaking viewpoint is most famous for its striking resemblance to a Tyrannosaurus Rex! Stand atop the steep cliffs to marvel at the famous rock formation, jutting into the water to cradle a white sand beach.

Broken Beach and Angel’s Billabong
Next we stop at stop is Broken Beach, a small cove locally known as Pantai Pasih Uug. Broken Beach is a naturally formed lagoon, a circular hole in a rocky outcrop that appears at first glance to be entirely enclosed by cliffs. Sip on a coconut at a nearby stall and wonder at this natural spectacle, watching clear water drift in from the ocean beyond. From the towering heights of Broken Beach, head closer to the water at Angel’s Billabong. This natural “infinity pool” is a lagoon framed by staggered and jagged volcanic rocks. The water is clear enough to see the strange patterns of rock formations on the pool floor.

Crystal Bay
A healthy coral reef lies not far out from shore, making this the perfect opportunity to rent snorkelling gear and peek underwater. Swim and dive in the temperate waves, or simply relax under the shade of a coconut tree, free to enjoy snacks and cold drinks at plenty of friendly “warung,” or small local shops and eateries. After a full day of exploration and relaxation, return to the harbour to board a speedboat back to Bali.

The most dangerous tour in my life and one of my group almost died.
Don't choose this tour. I went snorkeling tour for 9 persons and we got free photos and video with GoPro and the guide will take them for us. The whole trip, we got only 61 for photos and videos, half of them are blurred. And it cost 1,400,000 Rupian per person. No lifejackets enough for us. So life risky. Whlie snorkeling, the guide couldn't help my uncle get back to the boat while he had trouble with too small lifejacket they provided. My uncle almost passed out.
Response from the operator: We are very sorry to hear about your experience and take these concerns seriously. Guest safety is our top priority, and what you described is not acceptable. We will urgently review equipment standards, guide training, and service quality to ensure this does not happen again. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please send your feedback to daytours@discova.com

Do not and I mean do not book with this company!
My husband and I went to Bali for our honeymoon and this is one of the tours we booked. We were aware crystal bay might still be closed but was told by the rep that it is open and the tour guide would let us know if we would be able to visit. Come the day of the tour I asked the tour guide if we could go to crystal bay and he said many times that due to the landslide it is closed. By the end of our tour, we were asked by another tour guide if we enjoyed our tour and crystal bay. We were confused because we thought it’s closed? Turns out our tour guide lied to us! I gave this feedback to the tour company and the tour guide told the company that he actually offered to take us to Crystal bay but we declined because of the landslide and rough road conditions. THAT IS A COMPLETE LIE! I have communicated that to the company and they stand behind his lies and won’t acknowledge or admit their wrong doing. I’m so disappointed in such disgusting business practices. We’ve been back and forth in contact and they still won’t admit that they’re wrong. They keep offering 25% off the next time we book a tour with them but that is a slap in the face considering they’re still believing that we “lied about not wanting to go to Crystal bay” Tell me, how does it make sense that I asked before going on the tour if Crystal bay was open and if we were offered multiple times on the tour, why would we pick a stupid restaurant with an infinity pool when the hotel we’re staying at (alila Seminyak) has multiple infinity pools. It’s sad that we will be leaving Bali and not be able to visit a much anticipated beach. Shame on this discova company. Shame on their tour guide. Shame on them for not acknowledging that they were wrong. Please save your money and book any other tour company.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We truly regret to hear that your tour did not meet your expectations, especially during such a special occasion as your honeymoon. We sincerely apologize for the confusion and disappointment surrounding the visit to Crystal Bay. It was never our intention to mislead you. Our team strives to provide clear and accurate information at every step, but it’s clear that in this case, communication fell short, and for that, we are very sorry. We understand how frustrating it must have been to feel misinformed and unheard. Your feedback has been taken seriously and reviewed internally with the guide and relevant team members. While there may have been differing accounts of what happened, we acknowledge that your experience left you feeling dismissed, and that is something we never want for our guests. Please know that we are continuing to review this matter to avoid such misunderstandings in the future. The goodwill offer extended was meant as a gesture of apology, not to diminish your experience, and we are truly sorry it came across otherwise. We deeply appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and again, we’re sorry that your time with us was not what it should have been. If there's anything further we can do to make amends, we would welcome the opportunity. Wishing you all the best on the rest of your journey together.

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR. Terrible guide who lied to us. Poor communication.
There was poor communication from the beginning w this tour. We were dropped off in the wrong area and then almost didn’t make it to the office on time. to joij our group. Then our guide Suman lied to us that Crystal bay was closed because of the landslide/road closure, however we found out while waiting for the speed boat back that it was in fact open and that other Discova groups went to Crystal Bay while we were at a restaurant/pool for 2 hours. The other tour guide asked us how we liked Crystal Bay which blew his cover. It’s a shame because we may never be back in Bali and didn’t get to experience that because of a lazy, misleading tour guide. At the end of our tour we waited over 30 mins while the office was trying to figure out transportation for us that we pre-paid! The girl in the office was barely any help. Management should check on the staff that works here. If you’re reading this, please do yourself a favor and BOOK WITH ANOTHER COMPANY!
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and regret that it did not meet your expectations. We sincerely apologize for the confusion at the start of the tour and the delay in arranging your return transportation. That is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and we completely understand how frustrating this must have been. Regarding Crystal Bay, we have investigated the matter thoroughly with our Operations Team and the guide involved. At the time, we were advised that the area was temporarily inaccessible due to safety concerns. Based on this information, our team made a decision to reroute the itinerary. We fully understand your disappointment, especially since this was a highlight you were looking forward to. Please note that the tour product does mention that Crystal Bay may be substituted with Amok Sunset Bar in such cases. Your feedback has been shared with our Bali team for further review and improvement. We’re also re-evaluating our internal communication and coordination processes to help ensure a smoother experience for all our guests moving forward. We truly appreciate your comments and hope you’ll accept our sincere apologies. While we cannot change what happened, we would welcome the opportunity to restore your trust if you choose to travel with us again in the future.

I would not recommend...
I would not recommend this tour. Pickup was on time but we waited over half an hour for our driver for the way home. Communication was a mess, we didn’t know where we were getting picked up. Our tour guide walked us back to the office but the driver was at the port. The excursion itself was okay. The communication on crystal bay being open was vague. When I messaged through Viator, the rep said crystal bay was open but the tour guide would let us know if it’s open to tourists or not. Come the day of the tour, our guide said it still wasn’t open due to the landslide, but when we talked to another tour guide at the end of the day, he asked if we enjoyed crystal bay and he mentioned how it was low tide and nice that day, so…it is open??? The Amok restaurant had a nice view with infinity pool but we would’ve preferred crystal bay, especially since our hotel is nice with an infinity pool and a view already. Overall, just okay. We ended up feeling like we wasted an entire day on an average excursion.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback, and we're truly sorry to hear about your experience. We sincerely apologize for the confusion regarding the pickup arrangements and the unclear communication about Crystal Bay. This is not the standard we strive to uphold, and we take your comments seriously. We will be investigating these issues further with our team to ensure they are addressed and improvements are made. Update: Thank you once again for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly appreciate your comments, as they help us continuously improve the quality of our services. Following a thorough internal review, we would like to offer some clarification regarding the concerns you raised: 1. Delayed Return Pickup We sincerely apologize for the delay you experienced during the return transfer. While the vehicle arrived at the harbour on time, there was a miscommunication in identifying the correct pickup, which led to confusion for both you and our guide. Our standard procedure relies on clear signage and direct communication between the transport team and our guests. Unfortunately, this process did not go as smoothly as intended in this instance. After the misunderstanding, our guide brought you to the office nearby to wait, but due to heavy traffic congestion in the port area, it took more than 15 minutes for the driver to reach the location. We are currently reviewing this situation with our operations team to ensure better coordination and more visible identification methods moving forward. 2. Communication Regarding Guide & Driver Setup We understand there may have been some confusion regarding the arrangement of your guide and driver. Based on your comments, it seems there was an expectation that the guide and driver would accompany you together throughout the transfer, which is common in a private tour format. However, you booked the shared tour which includes shared transfers, and as per the arrangement, the driver picked you up from your hotel while the guide was waiting at the meeting point to join the group for the start of the tour. We acknowledge that this could have been communicated more clearly, and we will work to improve how we set expectations for different tour formats. 3. Crystal Bay Visit Clarification Regarding the visit to Crystal Bay, our guide did offer the option during the tour. However, we understand that you had read online about the beach being closed and opted not to go. The option was offered again later in the day, with the guide available to accompany you, but we respect your decision to instead relax at Amok Sunset with the rest of the group. As for the guide you may have seen after the tour while waiting for your transfer, we believe they were from a different group, as we did not have another tour operating at that time under our service. 4. Itinerary Concerns We’re sorry to hear that the itinerary did not fully meet your expectations. This particular program is designed for shared group tours, with Amok Sunset included as both a lunch stop and a scenic location. That said, we take your feedback seriously and will be sharing your comments with our Product Team for future improvements. Once again, we truly regret any inconvenience you experienced. We are committed to continuously improving and ensuring a better experience for all our guests.

Awesome tour with the nicest guide!
I had a great time touring the West Coast of Nusa Penida Island. The team from Discova Travel, which operares this tour, was really looking after me throughout the whole day's journey. From picking me up & dropping me off from/to my Sanur hotel on time; to getting on/off the fastboat, to the car journey around the island. Sana, our tour guide was so informative & helpful with everything, including going above & beyond in helping a solo traveller like me to take the best photos at the tourist attractions. My only regret was not carrying enough Rupiah with me to tip the guide at the end of the day. Thank you Sana, July & Discova Travel team.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience! We’re thrilled to hear you had such a great time touring Nusa Penida with our team. Sana and the whole Discova Travel team are grateful for your kind words, and we’re happy to have been part of your journey. We look forward to welcoming you on another adventure in the future!

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Nusa Penida Beach Day trip by Speedboat: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seminyak.
How much does Nusa Penida Beach Day trip by Speedboat cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seminyak usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Nusa Penida Beach Day trip by Speedboat take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seminyak is not rushed.
Is Nusa Penida Beach Day trip by Speedboat worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seminyak, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Nusa Penida Beach Day trip by Speedboat?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Nusa Penida Beach Day trip by Speedboat suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Nusa Penida Beach Day trip by Speedboat?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seminyak can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seminyak and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Nusa Penida Beach Day trip by Speedboat start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seminyak within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seminyak?
+
On Outty we rank every Seminyak experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Bali Waterfalls: Tibumana, Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan, Bali Instagram Tour: The Most Scenic Spots, Ubud Hot Springs and Waterfall Private Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seminyak?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seminyak?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
