Trip of a Lifetime
We booked a 10 day small group guided tour with Iceland Tours. Our amazing guide BG owner of Thor Travel picked us up in his pristine bitchin’ Mercedes Sprinter Van. I chose this travel agency because of the reviews about the guide that went out of his way to find Northern Lights and used his professional cameras to take individual pictures of the group. Well guess what? On a week that had rain predicted every day but one, BG found the lights and the pictures are stunning. He went out of his way to entertain and educate us about his beloved country. Geology was his expertise, along with folklore stories and the ability to make executive decisions spare of the moment. Our group of 16 from all corners of the world got along great, especially at happy hours. BG specializes in Northern Light tours through Thor Travel, if they are there, he will find them. We think about his sense of humor every time we fasten our seatbelts. Inside joke, take the most amazing tour of a lifetime!

His knowledge and expertise around our Northern Lights experience was fascinating! The tour size was perfect and fun, the transport was super clean and comfortable, and he is an excellent driver.

Best guide, best tour of Iceland!
BG was our driver and guide for this 8-9 day driving tour of Iceland via the ring road which included seeing the Northern Lights! We were a group of 16 adults, mostly older couples. He was entertaining, informative, jovial and a great driver too! We started off not knowing anyone but ended the trip feeling like we were all longtime friends. I highly recommend him, you won’t be disappointed!

An unforgettable, out-of-this-world experience!
Watching the Northern Lights dance across the sky in so many incredible colours was truly breathtaking. It felt almost like an out-of-body experience — something I will never forget! Our guide, Bjarni, was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He went above and beyond to find the best viewing spot for us, and his dedication made the evening even more special.
