Good but...
We did Portugal and North of Spain. The locations were beautiful and the guides were amazing. First we had Vanessa, she was really nice and helpful. Second we had Ofelia and she was super passionate about her tour and made sure we were having a good time. The problem was the communication between VPT and the third party. We used Onthegotours and we were given the wrong meeting point. Lucky our guide had reached out to me or we would have ended up in the wrong meeting point. We didnt know this was several different segments of different tours so we were confused in Madrid when we had to meet the new guide. Luckily Vannesa contacted Ofelia and helped us with this. The last leg of the tour was Vigo to Porto. This was the last day and onthego had given us the wrong ending point information and booked us in a different hotel so the last guide we had Ryad did not have us on his list because we were in a different hotel. Luckily Ofelia explained to him that our tour ends in Porto but we are in a different hotel so we were able to get on the bus and everything was ok. I wish we had the right ending point information because we were a big family with lots of suitcases and had to take two taxis to the other hotel. At first I blamed onthego but then I met a lady using another third party called sun travel and she was also given the wrong meeting point and almost missed the bus. Please consider making sure that third party bookers have the correct info as well.
Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback about your trip through Portugal and Northern Spain. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the destinations and that Vanessa, Ofelia, and the rest of our guides contributed to making your experience a positive one. North Spain
Great trip to see north of Spain. Our driver was excelent, the best. This circuit does not include local guided tours for cities visited, this contrast to Andalusia vpt tour that included local guides. Accomodations, breakfasts and dinners were reassonable.
Response from the operator: Dear customers, Thank you for your kind review. VPT Tours team

Saragoza so far was my beautiful town in it's harmony and tolerance from medieval to modern , a city of mystery, more to come..., the tour is still on..
Response from the operator: Dear Nuwar, Thank you for the feedback. We are delighted to know that Zarazoga met your expectations and also the tour. Kind regards

Excellent tour
Second time I have tried to write this so it is going to be a lot shorter then my first. Truly enjoyed. Nacho was an excellent guide and tried to keep us on track. Extremely pleased with the quality and location of the hotels, except two-Oviedo and La Corunna(especially the location). Busy days. Enjoyed the provided meals, if you have allergies let your guide or tour know. Amazing value!

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
North of Spain & Portugal: 8-day Guided Tour from Barcelona: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does North of Spain & Portugal: 8-day Guided Tour from Barcelona cost?
+
Prices start at $1187 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does North of Spain & Portugal: 8-day Guided Tour from Barcelona take?
+
Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is North of Spain & Portugal: 8-day Guided Tour from Barcelona worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable nightlife in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule North of Spain & Portugal: 8-day Guided Tour from Barcelona?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is North of Spain & Portugal: 8-day Guided Tour from Barcelona suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 192-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book North of Spain & Portugal: 8-day Guided Tour from Barcelona?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does North of Spain & Portugal: 8-day Guided Tour from Barcelona start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
