About this experience
Off-the-beaten-path tour in cozy neighborhoods which remained undiscovered by tourists so far. Learn the local culture, see nice parks and buildings. Within this toure Prague's quarters of Žižkov, Vinohrady and Nusle are covered with their old buildings (both representative villas and neglected former labourers' houses), picturesque parks and some breathtaking views. Also the world's 2nd ugliest building will be seen from close. Local taverns can be found (and visited ;-) en route. Vinohrady with their luxurious villas. A stunning St. Charles church with its lovely surroundings, rarely visited by people. Hidden gardens and enjoying view on and from the remnants of Prague's original 1300's fortification wall. While strolling along the river swans and ducks can be fed. A free speech opportunity will be given to you at Prague's Hyde Park on Palacky Square. Then a unique Emauzy monastery will be reached and then the tour ends at the mysterious Faust house on the largest Prague's square.

Cool guide, beautiful environment!
Our guide was very charismatic on this one, he is obviously passionate about his job. 👍🏻 Perfect for a family walk / time spent outside the city centre. And guys: take some pastry for the swans and ducks! 😉

A great day outside the city centre!
Ingrediences: Beautiful and cozy non-central areas of Prague, very nice and cool local guide, one's intelligence and intuition. Shake, don't stirr. Result: A great day during which we learnt really lot!! (And my wife has some dozens of cool pics for unnamed social media.. 😉 😀)
Response from the operator: Dear travelers. Thank you for your very kind review and we wish you all the best to your future travels. Sincerely Lukas Vraz, Customer relations manager - Spectrum Tours

Intersting and refreshing
It was very pleasant and refreshing just to get out off the touristic buzz and visit all those nice place breathing with the local atmosphere. We would like to thank our guide Marek for that nice day we spent with him.

Prague behind the touristic cover
We requested the same guide for this experience whom we had for the all-day-tour just the day before. We really were appreciating his sense of humour and lots of local knowledge. This is really "Behind the cover/curtain" experience. Recommendable to those who are "at ease" types. ;-)
Response from the operator: Dear travelers. Thank you for your nice review. :-) We wish you all the best to your future travels and looking forward to see you in Prague next time :-) Sincerely Jan Svitavsky - Spectrum Tours

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Non-touristy Prague - Cozy Neighborhoods - Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does Non-touristy Prague - Cozy Neighborhoods - Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Non-touristy Prague - Cozy Neighborhoods - Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is Non-touristy Prague - Cozy Neighborhoods - Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Non-touristy Prague - Cozy Neighborhoods - Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Non-touristy Prague - Cozy Neighborhoods - Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Non-touristy Prague - Cozy Neighborhoods - Private Tour?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Non-touristy Prague - Cozy Neighborhoods - Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, 3-hour Complete Prague Bike Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
