Unforgettable journey

Our trip to Egypt has been simply stunning. The Nile cruise was a unique experience, with spectacular temples at every stop, and Cairo impacts from the get-go, especially seeing the Pyramids in person. We want to highlight our guide, Moha. His explanations were incredible, clear and passionate. It made us understand and enjoy each place in a special way. It totally made a difference to the trip. Egypt is certainly a “must” for any traveler. A destiny to be lived at least once in your life and essentially with our guide Mohamed Gared. Fully recommended.

King Tut II Luxor-Aswan with Abu Simbel.

First day in Luxor we were really upset: the program said east bak in the morning, west bank in the afternoon... but we woke up at 4.30 am, left at 5.30 and did it all in 8 hours. We come back at lunch time. Actually it ENDED UP BEING GREAT!!! I advise to arrive in the boat early, so you can go to bed early. ESSAM was a great great guide (portuguese/Spanish). Also FAREK FOX in the buffet and all the crew were 5 stars. They allow you to buy water outside and take it on your table for meals. Abu Simbel, we left the crise at 2am and were the first ones to arrive. Amazing pictures. Very hot day I am glad we went early morning. Philae was beautiful. Only downside: the bathrooms. All the entrances were included, we had enough time to rest, the bus to Abu Simbel was very confortable. I would do it again and advise friends. You need to be prepared for some efforts but it's totally worth it.

Knowing the immortality of the pharaohs invites you to reflect on yours.

It was one of the best trips I've ever taken. We were able to take photos, videos, make dinners, dances and delicious meals, learning every minute and especially: Understand ancient Egypt, all of this with an expert Egyptologist passionate about history. Quite a treat. Gracias Mohamed.

How many days do you need in Aswan?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
