Puente de la Mujer
The Puente de la Mujer, one of the emblems of the Puerto Madero neighborhood, is the first work in Latin America by the renowned Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and represents another example of the City permanently seeking to position itself at the forefront of art and architecture in the entire region. It is a revolving pedestrian bridge with one of the largest turning mechanisms in the world, designed to allow the passage of sailing vessels that navigate the docks of Puerto Madero. The work, made in Spain and donated to the City by a private individual, represents the image of a couple dancing tango, where the white pole symbolizes the man and the curved silhouette of the bridge is the woman.

It is the main seat of the Catholic Church of Argentina. In addition to being located in a key area of the City of Buenos Aires, it has a long history of disappointments in its construction. The current building is the sixth construction that has been carried out in this place since the second foundation of the City of Buenos Aires. Its final structure is neoclassical and has a profile rarely used in cathedrals, giving it a closer resemblance to a Greek temple than to the classic Catholic building.

El Ateneo Grand Splendid
The Athenaeum Grand Splendid was chosen by the British newspaper The Guardian as the second largest bookstore in the world. Built on the former Grand Splendid movie theater in the Recoleta neighborhood, it retains its former splendor and elegance, with the frescoed cupola, original railings, and intact decor. On the old stage - with the velvet curtain ajar - there is a bar that invites you to sit book in hand. You can also take advantage of the armchairs that are on both sides of the main room or be located in the exclusive boxes that work as small reading rooms. In the basement there is a sector dedicated to children's books, and the upper floor is dedicated to samples and exhibitions.

Floralis Generica
This imposing 20-meter-high sculpture that dominates the United Nations square was donated to the City of Buenos Aires by its author, the Argentine architect Eduardo Catalano. It is made of stainless steel and aluminum and weighs 18 tons. It is the first sculpture in movement controlled by a hydraulic system and photoelectric cells. The work was inaugurated on April 13, 2002. Its name, "Floralis Generica", is a tribute to all the flowers. Good way to spend an evening at Buenos Aires.
The evening tour was great. It was our first day at Buenos Aires and seeing the city with lights was a good experience. Having a private tour gives you a chance to visit places of your interest. Highly recommend this tour.

What a wonderful tour! We have always wanted to experience a night tour. Roberto and Latauro did not disappoint!!! Shared a lot of history with us. Stopped at numerous neighborhoods allowing us to get out and do a walking tour. A 3 hour tour that touched all of the “must see” areas of Buenos Aires!!

Tour with a new friend
Alejandro was our guide, and he made us feel like we were visiting with a friend. He drove us all over the city to several neighborhoods. He was very knowledgable about the architecture. He really loves his city, and he talked about the customs in Buenos Aires, and he went wherever we wanted to go. We were able to stop and get out of the car, walk a little bit, and take lots of pictures. The guide made the tour extra special.

Private Night Tour of Buenos Aires
I booked a private night tour of Buenos Aires for myself and my husband at the last minute. We were lucky enough to get one of the last spots for a 4 hour evening tour starting at 8PM. Our tour guide Daniel and his son Gabriel picked us up from our hotel right on time on a comfortable and air conditioned vehicle. They asked our opinion on what we wanted to see and do. We mentioned we'd like to focus beautiful architecture and they took us to all the beautiful and important parts of the city, including some non- touristy hidden gems and places of personal interest. They took their time and let us set the tone on where we wanted to go by vehicle and where to get out to explore and take photos. The driving was very safe and they made sure we were comfortable at all times. This was hands down my favorite tour and I highly recommend this dynamic duo.
