Private tour with Manar
We booked the tour before departing the US and were immediately contacted via WhatsApp with local (Cairo) contact information. When we arrived in Cairo, our guide from Travelish, Manar, reached out with more information. we met her at 6 PM at the Egyptian Museum for our private (group of 6) tour. She gave us an introduction of the history of Egypt, which was superb! We knew instantly that we had an excellent guide. As the museum has little signage and is currently being packed up to move to the new location, it would be difficult to visit and see the highlights without a guide. Manar pointed out artifacts we would not have noticed, gave the history for many items, explaining the meaning behind the symbols and hieroglyphics. Manar is a wealth of info and funny and friendly at the same time! It was a true pleasure to explore the museum with her, and with only a handful of other people.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your excellent review. We are happy to hear that your experience with us in Egypt exceeded your expectations.Thank you so much for the kind words. Travelish Tours can not wait to plan your next adventure.waiting for you to come back soon .

Awesome museum and Manar is excellent guide!
Our group of 6 booked the tour before departing for Egypt. We received immediate information via WhatsApp. When we arrived in Cairo on March 1, we received additional information from Manar, our guide. She met us at the museum and began with a brief “history of Egypt “ introduction . We were impressed and excited to be fortunate to have a knowledgeable, engaging and interesting local guide. The tour did not disappoint. We were among only a handful of people in the usually packed museum. Manar pointed out highlights we would not have seen and provided a wealth of information on the artifacts. The museum is dusty, is being packed to move to the new location and has limited signage but this in no way detracted from our experience. The building itself is spectacular, and there is so much to see. Manar made our visit a highlight of our visit to Cairo.

Egypt is a breathtaking destination with so much to offer and we are glad that we were able to create an amazing tailor-made experience for you. Thank you again for traveling with us. Private tour of Egyptian museum with fantastic guide
We had a private evening tour of the Egyptian Museum for six people. It was very nice to be there with so few other people. We were easily able to see everything we wanted without any crowds. Our guide, Manar, was fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and was able to tie together different pieces of Egyptian history and information. Her English is excellent. She did not rush us and answered all of our questions. She brought some visuaks for us to show some of the background info she shared. I highly recommend Manar as a guide in Egypt.

Night at the Egyptian Museum tour in Sunday and Thursday: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.
How much does Night at the Egyptian Museum tour in Sunday and Thursday cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Night at the Egyptian Museum tour in Sunday and Thursday take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.
Is Night at the Egyptian Museum tour in Sunday and Thursday worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Night at the Egyptian Museum tour in Sunday and Thursday?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Night at the Egyptian Museum tour in Sunday and Thursday suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Night at the Egyptian Museum tour in Sunday and Thursday?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Night at the Egyptian Museum tour in Sunday and Thursday start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Giza?
+
On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
